im up in Scotland not sure if anyone does it here then? But i guess lexus will do it
FYI, Lexus got the geo wrong in the first place thus creating the inner tyre wear problem, and dealers aren't allowed to deviate from the official settings so it will just be wrong.
Consult WIM for the stats and bring it to a garage with the facilities to make geo adjustments, or check if there is a WIM approved garage near you
In case if you don't know WIM, CLICK HERE.

Whoever is organising this might want to start a thread over at the "group buy" forum, might make it easier for those interested to register their.... interest?
Oh and add me to the interest list.

If you lift the boot up by hand does it stay up or does it just fall down???Im looking at fitting a bigger spoiler on the boot soon and i might need to uprate the lifters??My boot spoiler will be up for sale if anyone interested
Stays up once opened, but I'm planning to add a lip spoiler too. However, I haven't found this other thread regarding the "boot lifter kit", would anyone mind pointing me towards the right direction with this?
-
It appears that after applying a layer of paint sealent and a number plate holder to my boot, its open mechanism hasn't got the strength to pop the boot up anymore. Does anyone know if some sort of adjustment can be made to resolve this? I have tried WD40ing the joints but no luck.

Once again it's pretty close, and if watching is free the more reason I should attend.
-
Quick question, does one only need to purchase tickets for doing runs, so watching is free as it states on the site "grandstand seats are free"?
-
It's done (in smoked chrome) at www.lap-tab.co.uk, pic below from Midlands meet 13/4.

My 2nd meet, and again a very good one too. Some pics of my car only at the meet, so not hog too much space and let others show their pics too.

Oh and feel free to add me to your X360 friends list!

Might be worthwhile making that flyer downloadable (as a pdf?) so we can print them out if needed.
-
HOWEVER, new problem- car gets to 110 and maxes out!
I hope you aren't testing this out on public roads :o

How bad are the dents? If the paint isn't scratched/scuffed then it can probably be SMART repaired.
-
I'm in to show my support, but best to post this in the club meet section as well.
-
Pretty smart holder that mate. Not seen that on the market tbh. Good work...
Jamie
I think jay m got this one, you can purchase it from http://shop.dashmount.co.uk/consoles/lexus.asp.
A used one was sold on eBay for £28ish + p&p.

what's the maximum legal transmission percentage for front window tints (i.e in front of the b-pillar)??
The legal maximum tint is NONE (as your car windows are already slightly tinted, any additional tinting is therefore likely over the 30% limit) in front of b-pillar, a recent news report on BBC Look East shows police pulling vehicles over for tint offenses, so they are not kidding.

What do you guys think of anthracite alloys on a Strathcaron Blue IS200?

Use prices from Lexus Hanley when asking for quotes from dealers, a nearby dealer who originally quoted £400 was willing to lower it by a £100 after I mentioned it :D , although my nearest dealer was unwilling to budge at £380 , guess who got my business
-
Look forward to attending this one.

The driver side wiper blade is 22", passenger side 19", any standard wiper blades would do. Get them locally at Halfords or the internet, I used www.wiperblades.co.uk and got some Trupart flat wiper blades, results pretty good but a tad expensive compared to the conventional ones, eBay has quite a few selections as well.
You are looking more at £10 a pair for the conventional ones or £20 for those retrofit flat ones that looks like the ones fitted to new cars nowadays, nowhere near the £35 from the st/dealers. Check my registry if you want to see a pic of the flat blades.

Well Auto Express might have messed up the pic, but at least their latest Driver Power results is very favourable for the old IS, still the winner of the compact exec class!

It's on the engine cover where the Lexus logo is, unclip the "clips" at the front and back of it.
