hi there i recently had my timing belt, tensioners and all other belts changed, and a new water pump all done for £233 inc vat. Water pump i brought myself and they fitted, all parts were original and from main dealer.

i 2nd that had mine done last friday, had all the other belts changed at the same time and a new water pump while it was stripped. fantastic price and service highly recommended.

Very strange jus spoke 2 lexus wolverhampton, thats wat the parts/services stated, unless they thought i asked regards the is220.

Need my oil changing spoke 2 the dealer regards what 2 buy and how much, they stated 75w 90 and capacity is 2.2l. so would need 2 bottles if not 3 to top up after a while.

May jus get them 2 get the parts, am i rite 2 ask 2 cahange timing belt, tensioners, pulleys, waterpump, and possibly all the belts whilst im changing the timing belt jus 2 get it done and out the way? How much do u thk it will cost? hopefully cheaper than the dealers who thk theres no credit crunch still charging sky high prices.

Hiya can any1 pls advise me further with this problem. as above nw after many visits nw finally they have decided 2 put on new disks and pads at my request this time frm the dealer. But where im confused is they arent goin direct 2 a dealer they told me they will contact their supplier in Telford who will then get it through their a/c from the dealer. The question is how will i knw they are original lexus parts and not after markets parts in lexus packaging.

hi mine does the same when i press 2 clean the windsreen it does the headlights 2, not all the time though. mines a 03 plate.

thanks 4 ur help guys, will do 2morow, last time i was there they said it cudnt be a fault in either discs or pads, they stated getin it checked by the dealer as they cudnt finf the problem. just a question wud they know there is a backing plate, or is this standard on many cars.

like wen u have sandpaper and ur sandin wood, doesnt squell or loud thuds, hard 2 say exactly how it sounds. But not quite at all, the sound is infrequent but wen braking the judderin is more often

had brand new front pads and discs fitted from kwik fit, within 2 weeks discs were warped, they were happy 2 replace all again incl pads, i may have used hard brakin as they say cud have been the cause, new set i taken care wen drivin but same problem still exixst since they were replaced and under braking it is loud at times. they say its not the dics or pads, but im sure it is never had probs wiv the original set. Not sure wat it can be any help guys Thanks

Hi 2 be honest having a oem satnav is gr8 but if ur car hasnt had it factory fitted then 2 install it nw wud be a headache, the loom behind the dash wud need changin. Not really worth the hassle or time i had same problem, although the housing cud com in2 use. Another member if u search has installed his own satnav usin the original housing. alot better in my opinion.

Hi all, strangely im struglling to arm my car when parked on me drive, no response from the car after pressing the button. it does work when parked at the botom of the drive when half on the pavement and in the driveway and everywhere else on the road. i always park it in front of the hose same place every day but it has stopped working 2day. can any1 help pls. thanks

Hi all, can anyone help on occasion whilsts driving im sure i can smell petrol. nw im gonna see if its after iv filled, only when i put my foot down or is it simply jus random. has anyone else had this problem?

yeah i only travel a few miles 2 work it sits the whole day then back home i come. i do tend 2put my foot down on the straight strecth near my house, but i guess i will have 2 slow down a bit.

yeah sorry, the starter turns but the engine doesnt turn on straight away.

i apologise if discussed already, but every nw and again wen startin my car it doesn't seem to tick over, i dnt knw if its lack of fuel goin through or if thers too much and it gets flooded. once started no probs i can turn the car off and it will turn on fine afta that, could it possibly the battery. thanx Nils
