  1. There won't be a WW3, instead there will be a single group to control the whole world, which has been in the making for a long long time. But i believe what Matts says is about right, it will get accerated around 2010. All these wars are just minor issues compared to what they have planned. I'm glad im alive now to enjoy life, but i feel sorry for the next generation of people and my grankids.

  2. They are quite hard to get hold off, luckly i managed to win a bid for a secondhand one (seibon carbon) for £320+delivery. At the moment they only have new ones (Goki) on eBay, but it's costs £495+£35P&P. So it's worth keeping an eye out on eBay, but to be honest i haven't seen a secondhand carbon bonnet for the is200 for at least 8 months.

  3. Can't see this having any effect, like as mentioned, people who r going to speed will speed regardless what the speed limit for the current condition/road is. People are so used to the set speed for the roads even if they introduce it, it will take a whole generation before they are used to the set speed. People who get caught speeding already faces losing points/pay more insurance cost and imprisonment etc, so whats changing the speed limit going to do? This is just another ploy the goverment wants to introduce with stupid excuses like "its greener". You really think they care? As far as they're concerned the slower you drive the less fuel you use and more time for them to put the price of petrol before it runs out. As with all goverment scheme its all about getting themselves as much income as possible, they have million of excuses in their sleeves, and if they don't have one, they will make one out either using a publicity stunt etc. Hate politics, but theres noway of getting away from it. We are all sheeps.

  4. mmm...never knew i had to change the Battery as well to a 14v one...but does that mean i would have to change alternator as well, otherwise it won't charge the car Battery at 12v. The reason why i like to stick with alpine and JL is they are relatively common and easy to get hold of on eBay compared with other brands that do 1k+ watts and for looks thou alpine amps looks sexy as. TBH i won't be turning this thing up in volumes, cos i don't see why i would need to lol. Another reason why i got the type X sub is it was pretty cheap (£130 includes delivery with enclosure, secondhand). I'd rather buy an amp that won't damage the sub. This is a side project which im gathering the bits for over the year when they arrise. Oh also got a capacitor which is buried in the attic somewhere..think it's 1.2 farads . Think tops i would pay for an mono amp for me would be around £300 reigon.

  5. Hi guys/gal,

Got myself an Alpine 10" type X subwoofer SWX1042 D (Nominal Power Handling: 1000 Watt RMS) with slot enclosure and im wondering if i should use a 1000rms amp or should i use one thats 500rms. The reason why i ask is, is it best to under power the sub (by 500rms too under powered) or to power it to it's max. I don't want to over stress the amp and also don't want to under power it and end up with something that sounds rubbish. I'm really only looking into alpine or JL amps. Thanks!

  6. Black cars always look amazing when it's been cleaned. You do what i do, leave it in gear..i only use one click of the handbrake. When i took it to the garage for the second service, the bloke asked if i even use the handbrake cos it tends to slack off after a while and takes more clicks to hold the car, but my car just takes 2-3 clicks to fully hold the car lol.

  7. It's cos at WIM its a full geo not just 4 wheel alignment and they have the very few machines in the whole country that does this, and without having a monkey behind it to operate it. I felt a huge difference just after a geo and rear stut bar. Next time i'll be there, i'll be having coilovers and ARBs install (once i can souce them). You're love it, trust us!

  8. I feel i was lucky enough to get a set of Cusco ones second hand off ebay for £165 with all bushes...

Im going to be putting them on this weekend so i shall report back and let you know how they feel, it may help with you making your choice...?

Ah, i was watching that on eBay, but decided not to go for it cos the ebayer had no feedback. Didn't want to take the risk lol

  9. Been about a month now, starting up seem sluggish and car seems less responsive than usual, so decided to get a new Battery. Got one for £58.73 (cheaper than halfrauds) from Toyota garage. Just now it took 5 turns to start, so i've decided it's best to change it now. Replaced the 7yr+old with new and started car, no problem. Lights on the dash seem brighter than usual and idle was really low (car is warm, just driven 13 miles), usual it's at the second line (800rpm?), but it was hovering at the first line (500rpm?) is this normal because the ECU still has to "learn"? Ofcourse i had to set the radio channels (all 2 of them lol) and lost the trip meter, but apart from that anything else i will encounter with a Battery change? Oh and how long does the ecu take to "learn" my driving style? I drive like an old granny on a sunday lol

**notes** Old Battery fluid level was half way between max and min, not sure if that would have made any difference. Now it will be kept in the garage for emergency use.

  10. Parthiban, i think thats normal. The N95 is pretty power hungry, won't last more than a few days without charge. Once the power bar drops down a few bars (depending on the theme you are using, my has a total of 7 bars to represent power) you will find it can drop 5 bars within an hr in use.

  11. They are charging me £14.24+VAT each. If they get it wrong then i will order them from elsewhere, like mentioned lexusparts. The place i ordered from are the nearest, they are toyota motorline, which are bascially lexus as thats where all lexus's are serviced. I've got a feeling i will be ordering these from lexusparts anyway lol...but i will give them a benefit of a doubt until the parts arrive, but ofcourse i have more faith with you guys.

  12. Cheers for that chris. I phoned Toyota again this morning about the black, fan type windscreen washers and they swear they have ordered the right part (L85381-53050-C0). I did tell them to double check it's not 85381-53070-C0. They said something like the part number has been changed a few times depending on the model Year and according to my reg number the fan type washers are L85381-53050-C0. I already told them that im not liable to pay anything if they order the wrong part and they even said if it's the wrong type it can't be sent back and they may not order it again (wtf?!?). I hope they have got the right part number..will see next wednesday when it gets here. Toyota also said that the diagram is of the trianglar nozzle.

  13. I love the online method. I arranged an online tax disc 2 days before my road tax was due and even kept my old one on display for a further 2 weeks before i changed it LOL. It's because i have one of them metal tax disc holders that had like 5 allen screws and i was too lazy to change it, but then the only place i parked was in my driveway or at private carpark at work. If i was going to park anywhere else i would not have left it that long. I believe you can still in trouble for NOT displaying it, even when you do have a valid tax disc elsewhere. Just out of interest what happens when you are caught without displaying a valid tax disc (even if you have a possesion of one), is it still classed as no tax disc, period?

  14. Try free spinning each wheel, on both side are they spinning freely? So basically you're saying that the pedal is staying down or are they jammed and won't depress? Can't say i've seen this problem before, it's not something stupid like you forgot to unclamp the brake hose or the drivers mat is jammed under the pedal?

  15. Oh dear, i even told them it's the spray type not the 3 nozzle! I will check again 2morrow. Aido is the ones you ordered the spray type? When i spoke to Toyota they said that the spray type nozzles were fitted to the later is200s after my 2001 lexus...is that true? Anyone here with a 2005 is200 with the spray windscreen washers?

I'm also sure the guy at Toyota said the nozzle is rectanglar....will question them again and yes i ordered a pair of them.

**EDIT** image of the ones i want, courtesy of DJ wozza..
