  1. Many thanks to all ...... have my seats in and working. Had to run a live to the seat ...... earth already there. Very pleased. Thanks again, Eamonn.
  2. Anybody got any help with this ..... going to purchase the seats tomorrow and really need some advice. My car has manually adjustable cloth seats .... I'm going to replace them with electrically adjustable half leather seats. Need to know if supplying the seats with power is going to be a problem. I don't mind if I have to run a separate power supply to the seats, but it would be very handy if there was a pre-existing block to just plug into. Eamonn.
  3. Is it possible to replace mnually adjustable seats with electrically adjustable ones ? Is there a block connector somewhere near the seat to plug in, or do you need to run a separate power supply to the seat ? Eamonn.
  4. Now you got me thinking .... rang a few places and came across a set of half leather seats for sale. (Door cards also) However my question is this. ..... The seats are electically controlled, so is there a block under the carpet to plug into, as my seats are manually adjustable ??? Eamonn.
  5. I have an IS200 Sport here in Ireland (00), it doesn't have the spoiler or half leather, but has everything else and is "sport" on the log book. eamonn.
  6. I was advised by my dealer to change belt at 60,000 miles. Service book on mine says 150,000 MILES. Decided to change it anyway. You should have seen the state of it. Wasn't another 1000 miles on it. Seems the tensioner pulley bearing was knackered and was throwing the belt againt the outside plastic cover .... it was worn down to 3/4 of an inch. A very lucky escape ....
  7. Hi all, Have exactly the problem as described regarding 1st to 2nd. Been to two different dealerships here in Ireland with it. First one relplaced all the bearings and seals in the box ..... no improvement. Went to another dealer and they said "The gearbox is not built by Toyota but is built by ZF and that this is a "characteristic" of the gearbox and nothing to be concerned about and this is the report they would be giving to Lexus Ireland. i.e. they see nothing wrong with the gearbox. I'm pullling my hair out........
  8. About to install CARK-112 and need some info..... [1] Can someone tell me what wire from the stereo is the mute input ? [2] Can I wire the speaker output to the cars speakers instead of the kits speaker ? Many thanks, Eamonn.
