    Has anyone else received the "invite your friends to take a 48 hour test drive" letter? Apart from the usual stuff, there is a line that reads...."All we ask is that you only invite people who might conceivably buy a new luxury vehicle in the forseeable future"..... Well, they wouldn't want POOR people (like me!) test driving their cars , would they?...although, with the current residuals and sales figures, lexus should be happy to sell to any punter.

    Its a great Feature and also it gives different beeps depending where the key is ! Boot /In Car You can lock the keys in the car, as I have done it !. I put my jacket in the back, using the back door, shut the door, answered the mobile then heard a click as the doors locked......keys inside & me outside. Boot also locked, so spare keys were needed!. Tried many times after, outside the house with the spare keys to hand & could recreate the problem using any passenger door. however, I couldn't manage to lock the keys inside the car by entering through the drivers door

    whereabouts was that dgman, my 40k will be done in about 2 months time. I used Derby for the 30k and found them quite reasonable

    This week, i tested my 220d at 0200 on the a38, derby to lichfield, about 20 miles cruise set at 60mph on speedo. both runs in 5th gear. no fans or aircon on, both days weather was about the same. wednesday, 49mpg thursday 42 mpg is this normal, or indicative of a problem? It's in for service on weds this week so any input would be appreciated friday, i did the same in 6th & got 48mpg...not really recommended as the revs are a bit low ! Tank average for this week (400 miles) is 44.6. I dont go over 70 though !

    I bought 2 Dylan CDs at christmas (i know) the labels are identical, one shows all the track details on MM the other shows unknown

    I notice in the dealers sales book that all the pictures are of a silver model (argenta ice?) This would suggest that the designers think a lighter colour shows the lines off better
