  1. I got a replacement Lexus one off ebay for £100 delivered and fitted myself, hasn't let me down after 2 years, have a look on ebay and see if theres any Its trying to find one with the same 5 digit number as mine.
  2. Out of curiosity i emailed my local lexus dealer to get a price for a new 6-cd changer cd / radio /tape player. I was expecting around the £400 mark. Guess how much? go on! £1766.76 I nearly choked on my lunch. I even phoned them up to make sure it wasent a typo. Its not!!
  3. This might sound silly, But what do i attach the other end of the pictured blue wire to? The cigarette lighter?
  4. I always find if i am not using the aircon, then i will turn re-circulate air to off, (so its letting fresh air in). That seems to help with steamy windows.
  5. Ive a simliar noise now and again, ive sourced the noise coming from the rear view mirror.
  6. ive got on '51 plate 's' model and both seats are manual.
  7. After a bit of reading into it, i am sure (dont hold me to it) but i think the only people who will be paying the £415 are the people with 06 registered cars that are still pumping out over 225g/km. If you go here http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ownin...icle/DG_4022118, got down near the bottom of the page and open / download the pdf file called "‘Rates of vehicle excise duty' (V149) (PDF, 158K)" It has 2 defining boxes, one stating "cars registered on or after 1st march 2001" price for us indicates £210 for us. The 2nd box below it stating " cars registered on or after 23rd march 2006" Price for that indictes £400+
  8. yeah, just found the thread. Connectors wrong way round. Cheers.
  9. Bought a 9006 6000k hid set off ebay. Its plug and play, so i connect all the cables up to the ballast, then remove the standard bulb, then plug the connector off the hid set into its place. Turn the lights on and nothing happens. Am i missing something? I have put the standard bulbs back in and it works fine. I have also reset the ecu, and still no joy.
  10. Make sure the bulb in the parcel shelf brake light is the correct one. I had this problem. I Found a bulb which worked and the brake light came on, but the orange warning light stayed on. Went to lexus and got the correct bulb, and all is good.
  11. I had a similar problem a couple of months back, I read on here a little and very simple solution, and it worked. Get a towel fold in half and place over effected light and turn on full and main beam and leave for ten mins.
  12. Hi all Does anybody happen to know what the torque settings are for the bolts on the rear brake caliper. Thanks.
  13. Yeah they are lexus alloys. Well i think they are anyway, they came with the car and have the lexus logo on them.
  14. No mods planned at the mo. Just enjoying the car for what it is. But you never know in the future. :)
  15. Thanks for the warm welcome. On the meet note, i will have a look into it.
