Its not the same as it used to be, mainly due to idiots. The police have clamped down hard on everyone, the truckers car park is a no-go area now or u get hit with a fine unless ur in a "goods vehicle" folk moved from there to the bus garage carpark but now theyve put up barriers so u can only park in half of it. Most popular places now are the carparks across from the nightclubs on the prom. All the other carparks have barriers and gates up :( If u do go be sure to Visit "Tonys" for Chips, Cheese and Chilli Sauce... Its the dogs danglies :D

Theres always folks in cars hanging around Falkirk retail park but the 1st Thursday of every month they have "Falkirk Cruise" most people would say its the biggest meet around. Usually it kicks off early evening at The Falkirk Wheel then everyone, and more head along to the retail park, it always really busy with a wide variety of cars, theres always tits in corsas, saxos and the like too with mad lexus lights and super fast bean tin exhausts, other than that its good if u go along with a few mates :) theres plenty of tasty cars too from big japs to pimped germans I probs would have went along to this 1 if i was in Scotland Asi, what were u in down Kirkcaldy?

I think you'd need to get a new TV tuner as I doubt the Jap one would pick anything up here Where is the Tv tuner tucked away about? and also whats recomended as a replacement? I emailed a place a while back who told me they i could drive in, then drive out with full working freeview TV but they wanted silly monies, i prefer doing things myself anyways i just dnt have 2 much knowledge with electricals. Give me a tool set and ill fix it but show me complicated electricals and i will cower in fear

I hav jap nav in my car, not really any use 2 me, how would i go about gettin the TV on it, all the channels are just snowy

I got my Billberry stuff through the door the other day, iv yet 2 put my spare wheels on and spend some time with my wheels to see how/if they clean up. I'll be back when i give it a bash :)

I was looking at the 3g Discs on Prolex as i just ordered some bulbs from them, i think these are the discs ill be going with, pads i was undecided between mintex, greenstuff and some Trd ones which were a bit too pricey What are the mintex ones like under hard driving? I do the odd driftday here and there so would prefer something tht likes being stamped on at times Any1 had any experience with DBA Brake Discs?

My Discs are in need of replacement, going to change the pads too, id prefer grooved discs, what do u guys reccomend to be good discs and pads?

I have a 98 altezza, im going to get the Cambelt changed before Christmas time. What else do u guys reccomend to change while this is getting done, iv heard its worth getting the water pump done too as the belts has 2 come of 2 access it? I can do with a new VVTI pulley so this is getting done at the same time... Is there anything else worth doing alongside these? Thanks!

I drive an Altezza My tax was re-newed at the end of February, it cost me £165 for 6months :( I had the car imported in September 2007

I picked my car up from Liverpool and took it to a guy in Bristol to get ESVA'd, registered abnd tax'd MOT'd etc! Surely the tax is the same throughout the UK?? I have mates who have cars with bigger and beefier engines than my Tezz, doesnt it all have 2 do with Emission levels now??

How come mines is £165 for 6months and £300 for a year then? maybe coz its an import no? Bloody tax on everything is ridiculious anyways :(

I dont like the foglight either im jut too damnd lazy or otherwise distracted to take it off at times, i went to do it once a couple of weeks ago but ended up undersealing the belly of the car instead lol I wanna take it off and wire it up to the 2 lights on the boot........some day

Yeah, cheers mate, thanks for the parts too :) It was a bit of buggering about as i cudnt find no one in the UK who could get me through an ESVA without to much hassle, i picked the car up from Liverpool, trailored it to RTS in Bristol, left it there for around a week as i got them to do the ESVA, tax, MOT and registration, flew down and drove it back up trouble free its been fun ever since :)

No further mods planned due to lack of cash :( its got plenty goodies on it the way it came tho :D front + rear ARB's, camber kit, Greddy oil cooler + filter relocation kit, under body chassis brace thigys front + rear, camcon controller, HKS Camp system integrated into JapNav unit, manifold and full HKS exhaust system, TRD Blue shocks and spring (1leaking:() so its keeping me happy 4 now B) I had this exact same thought when i got pics and spec sent over from Japan but they look somewhat diffrent when u see it for real, although the polished lip is kinda dead now as i never took them off for the winter gonna have to hunt out someone local who specialises in split rims so i can get them taken 2 bits and all polished up the way they should be

Hey folks, registered here some time ago and posted very little as i didnt have my car at the time I imported an Altezza from Japan, it arrived here around the beginning of september and i had it on the road a couple of weeks later with some :tsktsk: about! Its been a pleasure 2 drive and i love it to bits, in need of some rear tyres tho due to driving conditions and front tyres because my cambers off :( Any other Altezzles floating about in scotland?
