Good point... lets say 7 years on, burst pipe, lose all the coolant.... waste of money.. however, it is very rare to lose ALL the coolant in one go.. you should be checking your coolant level regularly, and should be able to spot a leak, and have it repaired without losing it all.. but yes, still a good point.. All you need to know is you should only use Red or Pink coolant, as it doesn't mix with green or other types. John

Yep.. about half the price, and lasts half as long.. Swings and roundabouts... but I won't have to change it in 5 years.. John

Toyota coolant is red... and lasts around 5 years.. The Toyota longlife coolant is pink, and lasts around 10 years.. The pink stuff is £66 for 10 litres.. I know, I bought it.. don't know how you can call it cheap though ! John

It's only a few screws to extract the whole unit... then check the connections on the back, plugging and unplugging a few times to clean them up.. John -
Usually Pioneer made, or some older units were Nakamichi.. If I had to guess, which I am doing.. the speakers and amp will probably be Pioneer as well... I reckon ML just "designed" the system, specifically with audio quality in mind, and in conjunction with Toyota, got Pioneer to build them. John

I still like Toyo's... and I believe they are well recommended over the pond as well.. John
