when you prime the carr on acc, and all the lights come on the dash, it shows a little car with two lines comming out of the rear bumper on both sides. When you start it and select the reverse gear.. It beeps as you reverse it does not detect any thing.. Ive managed to get real close without the sensors.. stopping beeping.. or changing pace Ideas?

I am guessing it is the auto leveling sensor in the bumper.

Lets try to help you out.. and Earthing kit isnt going to help you,... If you had a "bad earth" you would be having other problems as well, Ie car turning off intermitantly.. 1- Amps are on ignition live, Verify that with a multimeter, or look at the on/off leds 2- Electrical seats ruled out .. They are on a switch What else have you added? Any additional LEDS, to interiors? What about the BOOT light..? on my old avensis it only had two options ON or OFF .. (dont knw if the S has a boot light) We can most likley rule out the alarm.. / imobliser (unless it has been trigger lots of time, which could kill the batt)

Really to find a fault like this.. You need time.. Ie charge the battrey up Plug a multimeter in.. or a load meter, Look at home much current you are loosing, then one by one .. unplug the fuses from the circuit box.. Once the drain has stopped on the battrey you have found te fault..

Mine has 107k . Ive seen cars with slightly more miles with good exteriors, however it just wasnt slightly worn.. If your local i recommend you pop down and have a look. You will understand what i mean, He was willing to take offers in the region of.. 3.5k It has th IS300 alloys.

I would say an oil chanage for defo, I once read oil in the engine starts to degrage and break up. One bit you can look at is, leaving the car in gear and aplying the handbrake on a softsetting

Or you can go for the discounted HID stuff, but Chris knows about that in fact Chris have you got a link/item number as I want to make sure I am looking at the correct ones for a poss upgrade and what bulbs do they need same type etc... I think the problem with the cd chnagers mainly occurs when we use cdrw dics as they are slightly thicker and heavier.. One way to avoid this problem is just to use a single disc :D spec wise.. if the car is not beeing used for a serious ammount of miles, i would service is atleast once a year. or closest to each service interval.

Hmm do you have the HID kit ? whats the cost on it? Are they having a race in Nurburgring ? whats going on! Yes matey i've got the HID'S on mine and paid £75 for the kit off ebay :D Were all going for a bit of fun to Germany and i'll be getting chased by Gord by the sounds of it?? Think i'll have to take a crate of Stella to bribe him so we get Wozza instead :P Can you remmber which KIT is was ? Wouldnt mind buying HID's especially when the bulbs are 30 quid for a pair :P

Item number 320179211729 The sums and figures dont add up, The obvious one is wear and tear inside the car, Mainly visiable on the seats, The rear one look like they have started to "sagg". - Another thing i have just remmbered is Cam belts and other belts have not been changed ... and a slight squeeking noise is comming from one of the pullies. - PLAIN water is in the radiator, and no other coolant. - Extra "lexus badges ie "is200 SE" are in the boot. Exterior the car is very clean for its age.

However couple of things I would like to state. 1) between 99 to 2004 the car covered 90,00 miles at the last service (dealer stamped) 2) between 04 to 07 from 90,000 to 110,000 Actually has 3 owners including this one.. The current owner has only had the car for a short while, It actually was owned by manchester airport and used as a fleet car. and then supposdaly swapped internally and the log booked changed again... (some what i dont think so) i think manchester airport services sold it in 2004, its had another ownver and now this one.. The interior has took a battering, Seats are worn down shiney, worn arround the steering wheel, driver side foot rests are worn down. I honestly dont belive the car has done 110,000 as stated, I'll let you put in the holes, but i think the car is clocked ... by atleast 40k..
