  6. Hi i made up a drop link before . Easy.Small threaded bar thing/cut to right length / 2 swivel joints. Hardware / lawnmower shop etc.
  7. Thanks for your help everyone. It was indeed the rear right ride height sensor. Replaced it with a new one now everything back to a nice smooth ride. I nearly considered flying to New york on Norwegian Airlines for 99 Euros each way. Price there was 230 Euros/ New.{230+99+99=428} I might consider it in the future. I paid 425 Euros here/ New.
  8. Rear suspension stuck on high ,Pumped up solid. Put on ramp with wheels hanging to try to reset ,no luck. Checked current going to rear ride height sensors ,ok. Disconnected battery for a few hours did not work either. I cant get it onto a computer to test for codes till tomorrow. i have tried removing compressor fuse etc, trolled through LOC ,no real answers. 502k kms on clock most on lpg. Anyone experience and resolve the same problem? Any ideas.???? Ls 430 air suspension is starting to feel like Triggers Brush
  9. Thanks TigerFish , Can you remember how much the sensor was? Did it trip all the warning lights? It comes in two parts. €140 + vat for the sensor. €70 + vat for the lead. = €210 + vat .Here. For what might be just a broken wire. :tsktsk: .
  10. Just changed front air shocks oem . Dash lighting up/ afs, vsc, abs off, traction off,chk eng, warning triangle.Audible ping. No warning lights on before shocks fitted. Computer not a lexus one, points towards front left abs sensor not receiving any signal. Will probably bring it today to lexus dealer tomorrow. Does anyone know if it is this sensor, would it cause all of these warning lights to come on?. Has anyone fixed their own sensor as the post below. There does not seem to be any pictures, Any new info appreciated.[pictures] :mat: COPIED from clublexus.com Broke your ABS/VSC sensor? Here's how to fix it! I know this probably belongs in the suspension/brakes section, but I want to put it here so it will get more exposure. I'm sure almost everyone here that has done suspension work has had their fair share of damaged ABS/VSS cables. I think its senseless to pay $200-250 for a whole new sensor when only the wire is busted. Here is how to fix it and save that money Direct link to my ProjectGS DIY site, easier and cleaner version if you want to print it out. http://www.projectgs.com/DIY/SuspBrake/ABSVSC/index.htm The stuff on my page is the same stuff as below. =========================================== ProjectGS DIY By: Jeff Tsai Repairing ABS/VSS Sensor Cable Recommended Tools: Multimeter Sharp Utility Knife (sharper blade will make stripping the small wires easier) Heavy Duty Electrical Tape Liquid Electrical Tape Soldering Iron with Fine Tip Sharp Scissors Electrical Grade Solder Pliers Introduction: This is a cable that several people damage when doing brake or suspension work. A new sensor usually costs about $200 from the dealer. The cable is easily damaged if tugged or bumped. I think its senseless to buy a whole new sensor when only the cable is broken. This guide will be a basic overview on how to save you $200. The most obvious requirement is that you need to have some basic electrical knowledge, but nothing over the top. You also need somewhat good soldering skills since you will be working with a wire that is about 18 gauge. I broke my cable when installing my TRD sway bars upside down! Heh, yes stupid but everything bolted up and there were no instructions in the box . I'm not the only one that has made this mistake, but here is the cure to your problem if this has happened to you. Instructions: Start by inspecting the wire for any physical breaks. Easy ones to find are external rips/cuts/tears in the outer rubber insulation. Tough ones to find are the internal breaks. For the internally broken wire, you will have to squeeze/bend around with your fingers on the wire to find where it is severed inside. It will be a pretty obvious flat spot on the wire if it was smashed by something (upside down sway bar ). The third possibility will be a wire that is broken at the connector plug or the solder joints on the actual sensor. This guide will cover how to fix a break in the middle of the wire. If someone sends me a cable to fix that has a break at the sensor or connector, then I will add to this guide. After finding the break in the wire, cut the wire all the way through at the break point. Strip away about 1/2 inch of the rubber insulation with sharp scissors. Then use the sharp razor blade or sharp utility knife and strip away a tiny bit of the insulation on the two wires. Just follow the above picture and you should be set. Just to make sure the sensor is working and there are no breaks further down in the wire, check the resistance across the two wires. It should be around 1.6-1.7K Ohms. Follow the above picture. Now solder the two wires together. Make sure the solder does not bind the black and white wires. Follow above picture. Use the electrical tape and wrap around one wire then all the way around the whole thing. Or you can wrap each wire individually, I'm just used to doing it this way because it's faster. Anyways, follow the above picture. Now is the cool part. This liquid electrical tape will seal everything up so it's watertight. Just apply it around any exposed areas so it covers to the rubber. Here's a picture of the finished application of the liquid insulation. Let coating sit for 10-15 minutes for full cure before touching it. Once you finish, test the resistance at the connector and make sure its 1.6-1.7K Ohms if it checks out, then you're good to go. If the resistance is still incorrect, then you either have a break somewhere else in the wire, or a break at the sensor. Now, go reinstall the sensor on your car and get rid of those pesky ABS, VSC, VSC OFF lights! FINISHED! 11. Question? Has anyone put ordinary coil[spring] shocks on the front,,,with air shocks on the back. I only recently have replaced my rear air shocks, and was thinking about the replacing the fronts. but seeing as Coils or springs are much cheaper,is there a way around this. I may as well put this in as well . window switches There are two little plastic prongs under each switch, which press down on a pad,a bit like a mobile phone pad, These prongs seem to break quite a lot ,and you cannot just buy the swivel switch bit.[with the prongs or pins] you have to buy the whole unit. ie front master switch,if one prong breaks you can probably lower the rear window but not put it up again, without stopping the car and using the key in the door to raise them all. yes my left rear passenger switch just broke. surely you should be able to buy this little switch, for a few quid. is there a fix for this?
  12. I had the same problem. fixed it two weeks ago,it was the oxygen [o2] sensor on front left /bank/ on the exhaust. Part NO.l89465-50120 n/stk Sensor oxygen. There are four 2 up front and 2 at the rear. ps the rear ones aren't really at the rear just further back than the front other 2. Two different garages identified that this was the problem,& also identified the same sensor FRONT LEFT. As there are four of them. Probably slightly different/Front& back??? I hope this is of some use to you.
  13. 37.64 miles Per equivalent cost per Gallon. 06 Ls 430 v8 4.3 automatic 6 speed tiptronic gearbox 66.62 Litres LPG =15.09 Imperial Gallons =458 KMS= 284.6 Miles./55.5 Euro = £47.19. LPG @.80 Cent {Euro} per litre-.Petrol @ 1.60 per litre. 18.82 Miles per Gallon on LPG.= Half the price of Petrol. Multiplied by 2 = equivalent to Petrol price, gives me 37.64 miles . @155mph fuel consumption might be a little bit less ??? 2013 Nissan Versa sedan The more fuel-efficient sedan gets a smaller 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine versus a 1.8 liter in the hatch. When paired with the continuously variable automatic transmission, the sedan returns 35 mpg combined.
  14. I am really sorry that I did not convert my previous ls 400,when I had it. and also that i didnt convert this ls 430 earlier. I would advise everybody to convert asap, especially if you have a big engine. You will get the cost of the conversion back very quickly, especially if you do a lot of miles. Safe driving
  15. :mat: PS. Well, sorry for not getting back with update until now Very little difference in power,& i really mean it. The engine seems to run smoother and quieter, and dare I say it better. Next step put some Nitros Oxide in it?JOKE ???????
  16. Well, sorry for not back with update until now . I am getting about 410 kms {UK 255} Miles to the lpg tank of approx 62L = 13UK gal. It works out at about 19.6 miles per Gallon.Mostly motorway I am happy now . Around town 350 /360 km. I am getting my LPG for 80 Cent per litre. I think in UK ,you pay about 74p per litre ??? 74.GBP = 87Cents EUR. My Filler is fitted properly afaik to a metal part at the back/not plastic where it would or could break. I also have an engineers report Stating that the, system conforms to, The European Union Safety standards. I did notice at the start that the tank was not taking as much gas as it should. The float in the tank was not working as it should.this has now been rectified. I will keep you all informed but at present I am a happy,4.3 litre v8 motorist

  18. Just got this e-mail which explains a lot,& i am 99% sure that I will go with this set up. 2 reducers 150hp /cheaper version/ - it'll work but better spend €50 more and have 2 reducers 250hp. Same story with Injectors. You can take cheaper one- OMVL, ROMANO, Valtec,KME, Zenit, Lovato or spend more and use HANA. Same story with Controllers. We work with AC s.a. /STAG/ systems only and usually use HANA Injectors. In Poland there is 2.500.000 cars converted to LPG. 60% of that use STAG systems.Why?. Ask yourself... There is more than 15 producers LPG system only in Poland... Italy, Nederland, Turkey same. AC STAG exports more than half of production to Holland, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Australia etc. Why?... We know how to do it perfect, so choice is yours. Our price with two reducers 150hp is €1350inclVat - 2 years warranty - 1st year servicing free/others €50 each service - full tank LPG when car collected - LPG discount card/ 6% off - Main thing experience... Aviva Result /On the day the better team won. Happy motoring.
  19. I think this is the filler to go for. Nobody would know that you had LPG fitted. Its just which system. I THINK that The reducer with STAG Autogas System is supposed to be used on cars with a BHP of up to 250.but they probably have a way around this. . The other one/ Zenit pro obd.I dont know. They are both around the same price? Has anyone fitted either or IDerr. Tomatoe /Tomatoe Tank : 82litres spare wheel well seems good Is it true that you dont/cant actually fill the tank? Hopefully I will get it done asap. One is probably as good as the other. I just thought I would ask in case anyone has had any issues. I don't want to ruin the engine or the performance. Kaboom Aviva Stadium kick off @ 3.
