    had AA before, have to commend the guy that helped me out he towed me to the nearest VW dealership then paid for a hire car for me to get home over £100 out of his own pocket. :o I'm sure he would have claimed it back from AA but even still

    awesome thanks guys, all going well I should be picking up my IS from scorps start of August and thinking I may well drop a blue flame on her. If the vids on ebay of the is200 are anything to go by then the sound is lovely :), not overkill has a nice bubbly idle and a decent roar to it. @ Sorted please let me know how you get on without the cat on your MOT :)

    Hi guys, what's the thoughts on the Blue flame exhausts on a is200? seen some reviews saying it does sound nice but wanting to know the thoughts from the pro's (you guys :D) Dan

    Just as a update - I should be picking up scorps' Lex at the end of the month, all going to plan :D Pics will follow as soon as I pick her up, I'm like a kid before christmas at the minute lol

    well hopefully I will be taking scorps' is200 off his hands (this has the TTE kit) but he's gota get back to me lol! @Rikos, i've seen your car for sale however iirc it's got the white interior which i'm not a fan of, or i would have snapped it off you :P

    sorry to hijack but i'm in the market for my first lex, again looking at the is200 sport (pref with tte kit), just curious what are the key things to look for when buying a 2nd hand lex (going to be looking at a 2000 reg to avoid the tax boot :P)

    I've found a silver one :o, emailed the guy asking if it's still available! (the blue one i was interested in had the white interior that i'm not particularly keen on) do you have any experience of white interior?

    ahh fair enough maybe someone can enlighten us to what kit is on yours? SODS LAW - found a gorgeous blue one in immaculate condition although it does have 117k miles (99 T reg) on it, now how do these lex engines go with mileage?

    I haven't looked yet mate, but i will :D. I'm actually being really fussy in the lex i want basically i'm looking for a 99-00 (to avoid the higher tax) sport, with under 100kmiles on it and with a similar kit to the one on yours (is this the TTE kit?). I have a vision of a few carbon fiber exterior touches but not sure how well blue will take to it. I've seen a few modded grey 200's and they do look pretty special but i can see it being one of those colours that you can become bored of pretty quickly.

    you lucky lucky B*****D :D, i should be in the market for my IS200sport at the end of this month, this will be my first (yes i'm a lexus virgin). I'm currently deciding on colour, i've narrowed it down to Blue/Black or Grey. I was heavily leaning toward grey but after seeing this beauty it does look stunning! I'm going to be having a few carbon pieces on the car splitter/spoiler etc so not sure what colour will go best with this?

    can i ask a really dumb question in how comes tax will be cheaper for IS200's reg'd before 2001? I'm also on the look for a IS200 at the min and hopefully will find one, fuel doesn't bother me as i only commute 15miles perweek for work. Also on a slight thread hijack how does mileage affect the IS200's i.e. is 100,000miles on the clock going to kill the car or do they run pretty well as most of the jap straight 6's do?

    Hi guys just recently signed up on here as i'm in the market for a IS200, but i'm just curious what the main differences are between the models spec wise? What i'm looking for is a IS200 with a styling pack in Black manual and with fairly low mileage for it's age, what are my chances :P? Thanks Dan
