  1. Ok i respect your opinion and i knew i would get mixed reactions with the but was there really any need to be abusive? ok you dont like it and i did expect people on here not to like it but the way you have gone about saying it is uncalled for All i have done is something different. They are not permanent, they are only on here untill i have refurbed the standard wheels. I had them cheap and thought it would be something different. Infact tho i have already had alot of attention with this now. Went down to llandow yesterday for the BDC and most people there seemed to love them. People were taking loads of pics of the car and was actaully asked if i could move the car from the car park and into the pit area so the official photographers could take some better pics Each to thier own tho
  2. I'll be going too i think Where abouts it s south wales are you from?? may come down with you lot
  3. Or you can just take the car to someone you know for an MOT The throttle response is a little better with the set up i have now to be fair. Seems to pull a little better to when cruising on motorways. Dont have to put your foot down quite as much to pick up speed which in turn made my MPG better :D
  4. Some of you may have the thread i had going before about the alloys and i know a few wanted to see what they actually looked like on the car before commenting lol If im honest i was unsure myself when i took it to the garage to get tyres on them and get them fitted but once it was lowered back down i really liked them and so did the guys at the garage. So i want your honest opinions please :D Not alot of clearance haha
  5. Very good choice of colour there :winky: haha I personally would go a little lower on the front. Might just be me but looks to be sitting lower on the back than it does on the front now correct me if im wrong tho. What coilovers are they? Ive got mine lowered on Teins and the front of mine is a hell of alot lower than that lol Also how did you find the colour match on the grille? Im going to be ordering one form lexus on friday probably
  6. Feel sorry for you mate. I was in a similar position when i was out of work last year. Luckily i am working again now and finding my feet once again so not finding things quite as tough. At one point i actually sorn'd my IS200 and didnt insure it as money was so tight Hope all works out for you soon
  7. Matt I'd recommend changing the bolts that hold the hub on. They bolt into the underneath of it. Mine sheared the other day in the hub. Only cost me about £9 from lexus dealer for the 4 bolts (2 each side). Juts dont want to see this happen to another owner for the sake of a tenna and about 30mins work (if that)
  8. Where can i get these wide arches from asi?
  9. Lmao! Fair play i laughed quite a few times reading this....Legend! Glad its sorted tho, must have been a bit of a bitch not actually knowing when you needed to go to the petrol station
  10. Cheers Asi. The car is mechanically ok now but i need a new wing
  11. As your lookin at the undeside of the hub you will see the ball joint. There are 2 bolts that go either side of the ball joint and into the hub. These are the 2 you want to change. Once you get underneath you will easily see which ones i mean
  12. No signs at all mate and the only work done it that area was the coilovers and tbh that wouldnt really affect these bolts as they are night at the bottom of the hub
  13. I was driving up a mates the other day and the 2 bolts at the bottom of the hub sheared completely off These bolts are the only thing holding the bottom if the hub onto the car. Luckily its duel wishbone so the wheel was kept with the car by the top suspension arm. Still damages your wing tho Pics of the damage This is what happened. The bolts sheared off inside the hub Shiny new bolt I was just very lucky that i was already coming to a stop when this happened. Damage could of been alot worse. I really recommend these get changed before its too late and you might not be so lucky. They cost around £9 from a lexus dealer for all four (both sides) and will take you about half hour to change both sides. I also used a bit of thread lock on these new ones just for extra safety
  14. Anyone have a passenger side wing for sale? or know the best place to get a new one?
  15. Looks nice mate one question tho....what do you have thats made by blitz? Please tell me you have something to justify that sticker
  16. Very good piece of kit. He's been trying to sell those for a while.......it's an alright price as well. Is it as good as the hotchkins (however its spelt) ones?
  17. Anyone know if these are any good? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Eibach-TTE-Anti-Roll-Bar-Kit-Lexus-IS200_W0QQitemZ230463926958QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item35a8b872ae#ht_814wt_1165
  18. Not a bad idea However one problem.. the scrots are all well below the legal age.! Where you from ibby? Im definately up for a meet near yours. I reckon a load of us turning up in the street and not actually doing anything to them may scare them off a little anyway
  19. Anyone know how to remove these? one of mine has snappped and need new ones but need to know how to remove the tops of them (out of the bumper)
  20. Just out of interest, how much did you spend on your 'chip'?? If its the chip i think it is then they do sod all. Sorry to break the bad news to you I suppose you could cam and throttle-body the car but you'll end up sending just as much doing that as you would if you supercharge/turbo it
  21. You sure your not advertising? This is written exactly the same as your topic
  22. Would you of said its better than the TRD ones then?
  23. Thanks mate. I'll be ordering some of them soon i think
