  1. Sparky are these alot better?
  2. I had a track session down pembrey yesterday with drift-inc/driftworks. Was an awesome day but the IS200 brakes were *******. Everytime i had finished a run i had really bad brake fade coming into the pits. Now i have a horrible clunking noise too. Obviously i need to fix this but instead of putting standard discs/calipers and pads on and having the same problem everytime i was on track i thought i'd go bigger and better. has anyone done it? or does anyone know what will fit?
  3. I dont see anything wrong with asking the question. Like they say 'if your not sure....ask!' Could potentially have saved you alot of money if you were considering buying it imo Some people need to get a life and if they dont like what people have to say on a forum where people try their best to help one another out then they should go elsewhere
  4. Nice car mate and welcome to the club Just wondering tho. What are those lights you have under the fogs??
  5. You wont really have a problem with rubbing if your only going for a 40mm drop. Not sure on the euro look on a jap car but it'll be interesting to see. also the 'If it dont scrub...it aint dub!' Coilovers are defo your way forward if thats the look your goin for
  6. I believe the HID's were only on the IS300 too and not the 200 Mines a sport navigator and doesnt have HID's and has standard grille. Unfortunately the sport grille is an optional extra
  7. Fair point. Didnt realise you drifted. Thats the reason i have stuck with 17's aswell. Was thinking of downsizing to 16's at one point
  8. Thats not too bad. Im not entirely sure tho. Also is there any way of removing the chrome from around the windows? Looks a little out of place as its the only but of chrome left on the car. What size wheels you running? They kinda look a little small and lost now in those pics. Otherwise its a very nice car mate. Not bad for just a scratch repair haha
  9. This may seem like a stupid question but how do you go about getting these invites? do you have to have something done with lexus so they have you details on system for example?
  10. I refurbed my mates alloys a few weeks ago and painted them white. Its easy enough to do but prep is defo the key feature. Also its alot easier with the tyres off. I used cheap primer and then holts paint and then got the laquer and hardener from the local autoparts centre (this is quite expensive compared to laquer in a rattle can but gives a much better result)
  11. Great news mate. I got mine next month so hopefully i will be alright
  12. No probs mate. May stick mine for sale soon. I want a carbon one lol saves on postage too seein as i only live in pontypridd
  13. Theres an is200 in a scrappy in swansea mate. I had 2 coilpacks from it. Unsure if it has the boot lip but its gotta be worth a call Pic-Up Spares - 01792 771701/652816 Mike
  14. Ah i see. Sorry mate i dont half ask some stupid questions sometimes haha
  15. Anthracite i prefer out of the 2 Have to tried photoshopping them black? just an idea tho. doesnt cost anything to have a look
  16. Sorry ormi i meant where was the plastic cut from lol im guessing it was the back of the bumper to fit the intercooler Personally i love the stance you have now. I wouldnt lower the back. I think it looks best when the back is a tiny bit higher than the front but obviously not too much so it really stands out
  17. What did you cut off the bumper mate? Looks good by the way
  18. The lexus dealer in cardiff doesnt sell the lips for some reason. They said they dont sell anything other than standard stuff and dont seem to understand that it is a standard part
  19. You can nearly always make them fit mate. You'd just have to get some spacers and some longer bolts to make sure the wheel doesnt hit the strut. You may need to roll the arches then tho or make sure you have some decent stretch on the tyres so the tread stays within the arch (not sure on your laws out there tho)
  20. Yea i think you might be right. I look at it sometimes at think that some need to come off but other times i quite like it
  21. Is there much point swapping them over?? Mine is in the garage on wednesday to have the diff shimmed (mat you may know the guy thats doing it as he does all the nightwalkers cars - buffy)
  22. Mines on 135k and i use 5w 30 magnatec oil Mine smokes a little bit when its colder too
  23. Nah im not keen on the stickers on the headlights mate. They are off already. Just had them free from the maxxis stand @ BDC so my mate was playing about The bumper actually got trashed when drifting on track mate so thats why the cable ties are in it. I can understand why you think the one looks cut on purpose tho, really clean cut Yea odd colour wheels are definately 'in' at the moment and i really like it because its different but im not sure i would want to do it on an expensive set tho lol
