Hi guys. i was moving out of a tight space yesterday and managed to scrape off a whole load of paint off the front bumper, its definitely gonna need a paint job, don't think touch up with do the job! just wondering if anyone knows a good body shop around NW London as the i used to use has suddenly put his prices up as soon as he found out i had a Lexus! also how much do you guys reckon is reasonable to pay for a front bumper respray, cars platinum ice (dunno if that'll make a difference) Thanks!!!

already spoken to wozza bout this a few times by pm, i should be there, i was worried bout having an almost stock car but wozza twisted my arm, should be there by 7 if the traffics bad 6.30 if not! mite bring a few friends along to show them how good some modded lexus' are. how many s/c members coming? is the ace car park big enough to hold THAT many cars, doesnt look it when i drive past it, looks like 20-25 max?

Toms, TRD or K&N? which one do we think is the best, has anyone actually used Tom's or TRD?

dont really like the rims tho, kinda forgot bout the actual thread, imo the 6 spoke TTE's (i think they're TTE) are nicer, 18s too.

is it me or are those lexus badges photoshopped?

I would advise NOT going to Halfords. I had some granite sky made up, with proper paint code. I watched them do it and its laughable. They pour a bit of this and a bit of that into a pot and shake it. The measuring is done by hand. They show you the finished colour and if you agree it looks okay you buy it ... NO REFUND. Like a fool I thought It looked right, applied it to my plastic door trim and suddenly it had a nice purple previously unforseen 'tinge' to it. i actually have to agree with that, they made me some touch up for my 307 and it was waaaaaaay darker than the colour of the car, i would rather get a pro to paint it, how much do you think i should pay for painting, and how is it held in place if its not drilled? is it 3M adhesive like the ebay ones?

YES thats the 1, finally found the right 1 thank you so much. i spoke to a body shop guy he wanted 200 to paint and fit a lip spoiler, i dont think he quite got what kind of spoiler i wanted to have fitted cos he started talking about drilling and sealing etc. i mite go down the route edeath suggested and paint it myself, the TTE site says no drilling is required, i guess thats a lil project i can do then! but if teeside tell me the same price as hendon (£139) its NOT happening!!!

thanks for the heads up on that. ill call teeside first thing on monday, that leaves me with two issues... 1) whats the part number for the spoiler... theres two in that parts list thread dont know which 1 to go for and 2)will they deliver it if i do order it cos i live nowhere near teeside!

do you think different dealerships charge different prices for parts? cos the price difference would be nearly £100 if that was the case...

wouldnt i have to get the specific paint etc and the correct tools, none of which i have. wat do you think it would be like quality wise, i dont wanna buy a rubbish spoiler, i know its for styling not function but it still has to be a decent product!

hey everyone, i ordered my sports grill 2day from my local lexus dealership, at the same time i thought i would enquire about the boot lip spoiler, the little one without the brake light, M5 style. you must be starting to hate me now... do you know where i can find denso's? i read 'reviews' of the NGK's and they don't seem to be as good. do you think they'll be cheaper at a parts shop or is ebay the best route?

sorry i lied, i have 1 more question, please dont hate me. i had a look on ebay us for the ik20's like you said. however i cant find anyone that sells 6, they all sell 4? you wouldnt have a live link would you, most of the others i found on here are dead links. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks alot for all your help, its gonna about 150 to get my car serviced, i guess its still better than the 450+ lexus want. oh 1 lasssst question, alot of people on here recommend 5W and 10W engine oil, whats the difference between the 2 and which would you personally go for yourself? thats the last question i promise

yeh i did but i just want as many possible opinions and prices as possible. I think ill deffo go for the K&N but stick with oem oil filter. 1 last question, spark plugs, dunno how much you know but what would you recommend? thanks

I have the TRD oil filter fitted and TBH its not any different from the OEM oil filter you can buy from your local dealer. When I next service my car, I'll be going back to the OEM filter from Lexus. What about the air filter? I'm looking to get a K&N, i assume you have a panel filter, if so how much did you pay for it and from where, if you don't mind sharing.

I know this thread is quite old but I'm due a service soon and was thinking of getting a trd oil filter, is there any difference between that and an oem one? i know someone mentioned it above but surely that £10 premium must have an advantage?!
