  1. Well done dude ! The Skyline looks stunning, and must bring a bigger smile with the turbo over the supercharger !
  2. Beautiful looking car there !!! Can’t wait to see it all finished, it looks stunning, and I’m sure your clients will prefer travelling around in a VIP Lex as oppose to a Drift prepped S14
  3. Cheers Steve ! The second link looks about right, so i'll give it ago when i get some spare time ! Cheers mate !!!
  4. After hearing and seeing how easily these case break, i've always been cautious when turning my key and holding it close to the blade. But I just checked my screw and it was loose Thanks for the heads up, just tightened now B) Apart from this kid being an idiot, was it hard to find someone to cut a Lexus key, and was it cut on one of the usual key cutting machines, or a special fancy one ?
  5. Ok so after a week of this problem being intermittent, usually deciding not to work on very hot days <_< i thought i would attack it again over the weekend. (sorry for poor pics...they are from the phone !) Sunday, I woke up to the usual (please note "-E" where the temp is ment to be, and also not light on the Vent control) After ripping every thing out again, i split the controlls apart to have a look inside. After looking at and testing possible problems, I found nothing wrong. I plugged the controls back in only to find the :tsktsk: thing is working again. (if you can, please note the temp gauge is now reading, and the light on the vent control) So I put every thing back togther again, and it was still working But......... This morning....the controls weren't working again   I am so fed up with this, as i have to drive around with no Ventilation in the car, and driving on the motorway with windows down is not really ideal. Steviewevie - Do you have a diagram, or know where i could find one, to see what controls the A/C and fan controls ? I have check the fuses in foot wells and there are no problems with them. I have seen a Control panel on E Bay up for grabs, but i'm not convinced that the problem is the control panel. Unless someone knows I’m wrong and suggests I should get the replacement panel and give that ago. :(
  6. Good to see you have your car back Steve ! Looks like a good job on it !!! That Lexus Garage isn't too far away from where i live ! Good to see their work is good too !
  7. Isn't the Cam Belt and Diff oil require a changing at 100k miles ? There was a list on here somewhere that said all the things that needed to be serviced and replaced. Do a quick search on here, and you'll find it. Best of luck ! :)
  8. Are you going to get a kit ? Or maybe make one yourself ? :)
  9. Are they deep enough for a number plate to hide under ?
  10. From what I understand, this BC Racing Company is quite new. A friend of mine has just put a set of these on his S2000 last week. He says they are still settling in, but he is very happy with them. He has them adjusted so they are set for very low, but still soft for normal everyday driving. After seeing them on his car I am now thinking about getting a set while they are still cheap and before every one wants a set and then prices rise.
  11. A friend of mine has one on his Supra Not sure what it's for, but i'm pretty sure it came with the car. I think the original idea is for the forward facing speed cameras, which would work a treat. But he uses his mainly for showing off....Or so he says I guess they would also look and work a lot better on big bumpers like the one on the Surpa as it's deep. I'm not sure you could get away with that on an IS as a big deep bumper like that (IMO) would look aweful on our cars.
  12. You after this piece ? E BAY
  13. No mate, it looked all fine. :(
  14. No, I've not taken the dash out aprt from yesterday when it wasn't working and i tried to see if there was a problem behind it. And even when i took it apart the connectors, they looked fine. I went out in the car again today, and it wasn't working again. I switched the car on and off serveral times, and eventually it came back to life, but again only after a long time. So no one else has had this problem then ? :(
  15. I got an Error code on my A/C unit yesterday. :( Where the out side Temp gauge is, it read " -E " and nothing was working. The only thing that was working was the Hazzard light switch. I checked all the fuses, and nothing was worng, so i pulled apart the whole centre consol, only to find that there is nothing behind it. When i plugged every thing back in, it took a very long time, but the fans started up again, then then the A/C finally kicked in. Now the weather is starting to get warm having no ventilation at all is going to be a bit of a problem.... I've had a little look around, but can find any posts. Anyone know of this sort of thing happening before, or what could be causing it ?
  16. Yeah I had been watching it for a few days too, but I wanted to know if the price was reasonable or not, with out trying to say where it was from. But by the look of things, a lot of LOC had already seen it. I only put a bid on now as I was meant to go out and didn’t want to at least try, but then my plans got changed, and now I don’t need to go out. So Now I can see how I’m doing with it.
  17. :o Wow ! How much did it cost you to get it painted and fitted once you got yours ? ;) Lol ! Cheers !
  18. Arrgghh....we're all replying too quickly...it's all confusing !!!
  19. you round the wrong one mate the right one has the toyota box behind it! crap theirs not even one on ebay come on dav you bought it yet can't hold them off much longer!! I can't buy it...if it was on ebay, it would be a bidding only Auction. But it's not on E Bay, so it's ok ;) ;)
  20. Yeah it is a different lip, I would show you, but I’, a lil worried about loosing it to someone from here :P
  21. no it not on ebay its not on anywhere!!!!!!!!!! :winky: :winky: quick quick davros buy it now while i've throw'n everyone off!!!!!!! Good work Red Fox ;)
