Have just collected my IS300 had to drive 100 miles to get it home first thing i noticed is just how bright the headlights are, much better than the 200 whole car just feels smoother to drive, also looks a lot better as 200 is silver but the 300 is dark gray with smokey glass. Need to change the phone and some other bits over in the morning then off out to find some petrol stations ! Many thanks Russell.

I have a chance to change my y reg 200 for a 51 reg 300 not much differnce in age just wondered if the 300 is worth the extra money £1500 to have over the 200 Regards Russell.

I have a IS 200 2001 when braking and turning tightly at low speed ie turning onto my drive i get a knocking noise that seems to come from the front nearside. I have just put this into the garage and he has had a good look and can not find any play in any joints or anything wrong. I see lots of posts on knocking but most of them seem to lead to play in a joint, any ideas would be most interested to hear from you. Many thanks Russell.

Was driving home last night with family in car IS200 2001 my little boy said he was cold, my wife undid her seat belt took off her cardigan and placed it over him. At the time we where doing 70 mph on cruise, at exactly the same time as my wife undid her seatbelt the cruise control let the speed drop, the green light stayed on but the speed setting was lost. What ever i did i could not get the cruise control to set again, also the "D" gear indicator went off. Switch off and restart all is well but it does not like pasenger undoing seat belt whilst on cruise control. Regards Russell.

I hope someone out there can help me, I have an 01 is 200 and am in need of a sat nav screen, difference is that i want one that is not working, i already have a replacement screen so what i want is the air vents with the screen housing that flips up and down is in. Any help will be much appreciated. Many thanks Russell.

I have just changed cars and have to say it makes you wonder what use is there for a cover note from your insurance company, you can not use it to tax the car as post office said they can only accept certificate, so unable to tax at the post office. can not tax online as do not have v5 document back from dvla yet. According to DVLA taxing a car should not be taxing but i seem to be banging my head agaist a wall trying to buy tax.. Regards Russell.

Hello from another new member to the site, i have just bought my first Lexus a 2001 IS 200 and am delighted with it, everything works on it except the front fog lights so on the lookout for a new pair if any one can help with that. Car is silver and totally standared and i have no plans to change anything on it, me i own my own company making signs and vehcile graphics which keeps me busy most of the time. Best regards Russell.
