I've seen bike racks which fit onto a towbar - don't know makes / models. Possible problems are : 1. You have to fit a towbar. 2. Bike(s) will probably block number plate / tail lights - have to fit a 'trailer board' etc. May be worth a look however. Whitebeam

Its worth having a quick look at the system logs : start/control panel/administrative tools/computer management then expand 'event viewer' look in the system and application logs - often gives a clue as to whats causing the problem. Whitebeam

Thanks Supracharged - everyone tells me I've got a big head - guess this proves it! Nice to know there is a 'plan B' - hate to think this would be a showstopper. Anyone whos done this know how much drop is possible? Whitebeam

I'm looking at buying a (used) IS200 SE or Sport - love the car but can't adjust the drivers seat low enough! I've tried tilting the seat back but then can't reach the wheel (and not comfortable). Have sat in 3 cars now & spent 10 mins today in the showroom trying to get it right. I'm convinced I'm missing something here - I'm 5'11" and have never had a problem with other cars. Am going back on Thurs and will have another play with the 'large button' (in this thread). What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions (including doubts about my IQ) gratefully received. Whitebeam
