I must have been doing something wrong, as everyone else seems to be able to do within a few minutes. I do not know whether there was something wrong with the clips on the sides of the grill, as I turned them and they popped out, but would not come out the hole, whereas the the similar clips next to headlights come out and installed with ease. It was as like the the release pin was not closing the lower part of the clip to allow to reduce in size for removal - I may just be making excuses now, as I feel a bit silly. I will go Lexus to and see with they have the clips. Steve - I may have to take you up on that offer.

Hi all, I recieved my Sports grill from Lexus Birmingham (off eBay) today. This is where it started to go a wrong. I started removing the original grill from the car. The middle screw come out without any hassle and then the evil plastic screw / clip things, which took me about 10 minutes either side to get out and I managed to break one :tsktsk: I finally managed to remove the original grill and started the next task of repositioning the horns. I did not get too far with this as the M6 bolt I was using to secure the horns to the crash bar, just would not tighten up enough and there was too much movement for my liking, so they have moved back to their original position. I eventually got to installing the Sports grill. I put into position and started securing the fixings. The middle screw went in easily and then started on evil plastic screw / clip things and now I have broken the other side :tsktsk: The Sports grill is installed, but it is not secure on either of the top corners. Any ideas where I can get some screw / clip things? On a positive note, the car look a lot better with the Sports grill.

What code is on the disk and I will see if I can find anything? I am also looking at updating mine.

Check that you entered information in all in the fields. The same happened to me, becuase I did not put my 'Vehicle Model', all the fields are required.

Looks good. I have the same colour car and I am awaiting delivery of my Sport grill.

What difference has the induction made to performance and engine sound? I am still undecided whether to go for an induction kit or an aftermarket panel filter.

I have just ordered a Sports grill from Ebay. James S - do you have picture of your car with the grill fitted? My IS is also granite sky.

The IS has now been WIM'd - I noticed the difference straight away! I there is a lot wear on my steering wheel, I have the 2 tone wheel with the triptronic buttons - any suggestions on how I can tidy this up, it not causing me any problems, just does not look great. My car will be will due a 70k miles service soon, is there anything I need to pay particular attention to? The cam belt was replaced by the previous owner at around 50k miles service. Does anyone have the latest maps for the IS sat nav maps - is it worth the £150? Is there any firmware updates or postcode search on it? I have the 2001 version, which seems to have most places on it.

Hi all, I have been looking for IS's for while now and finally parted with some cash Sunday and got myself an IS300. Pictures (The one from the autotrader ad, I will add some more soon) I really happy with car and it was faultless on the 4 hour drive home. There are some scratches and stone chips on the car, which I want to get tidied up - does anyone what the paint code for this colour I maybe being a bit silly, but I cannot find the manufacture plate with the details anywhere! I have no major mods planned, maybe just a air filter for now - any recommendations, I was thinking of going for the K & N panel filter. Also, I have managed to get the car into WIM on Thursday, so I am a pretty happy chap. alamkhan3980

Hi All! I am thinking about buying an IS200 Sport, the cars in my budget of up to £5k seems to have 80-100k+ mileage on the clock, is this something I should be concerned about and does anything need attention around these miles, apart from usual service stuff - I have read the knowledge base, but want know if anyone has experienced any issues or not. Also, are the Sports model worth the premium over the SE? and is £5k a reasonable budget for IS200? Thanks
