  1. Hey all, i know you can get smoked or graphite rear lenses from your local lexus dealer but can you get the same type of front headlight from them? is there anywhere that sells these or even angel eyes(dare i say it bmw syle ) and what about side repeaters can you get a smoked version of them. i know i'm asking a bit much now but where do you get clear fogs from? i am building my wish list at the moment and would like to know where to get the above bits from. cheers neil
  2. if you dont mind me asking what did it cost, when i've paid off my boiler i might get one!

  4. I got my insurance through the C.I.S. as i used the car for work and have to do 1000 miles a month to see my bambino my cover is now for 40,000 miles and as a 25 year old some of my quotes were out of this world, the lexus club insurance qouted me £1300 at c.i.s. it is £700. worth a call. off the top of my head the number is 08457 464646 i think thats right. I told them i was changing to a set of 18" alloys which would add value to the car and all they said was send us a photo so we can update our records. no extra on the premium.(not getting the wheels now though , dodgy boiler, long story). The only problem with c.i.s is you might have to sit down with a financial adviser but i just refused to talk about anything else to him. cheers neil.
  5. i've just traded my old bmw 316 in for a lex is200 and all i can say is i'll never drive a bm again. just before i traded it cost me £800 on new front brakes and i had another bill of £1200 for a service, don't know about the cost of lexus parts and servicing yet but just for the quality if the car i'd say the lexus wins every time. ;)
  6. had my first proper blast, nottingham and back (250 miles ish). i thought driving a bm was fun, never again. cheers to all and hopefully the car won't look too standard for much longer. cheers neil
