bus driver admits he hit me(hurray) you couldnt deny it my wing has a slight green flip now. but its wether his company accepts liability and it will take ages, want to take my baby and her new lights to jae but dont want to take a dented motor.

after couple of mins in the oven the plastic was softish, with the first one i took it off at this stage and ended up ripping parts of the housing(not too good but you wont see it). on the second attempt i heated with the hair drier after cooking and it came off no problem. im uploading the pics now so will be on here soon.

[pics will follow tonight, as for workshop guide there is one already on here somewhere. I stuck them in the oven on about 150 degrees for a few mins to soften the plastic and the glue then got the hairdrier (cheers mam) on to it to realy sorten the area as i worked it loose. I used an undercoat of heat proof paint then sprayed the lensewith granite sky or what ever its called. when i had the lense ready to go back in i heated the unit again in the oven to loosen the glue and bobs your uncle, fanies your aunt there it was all back togehter. need to silicone it tonight to give it a proper seal though.

well the fogs came out went in the oven and got cooked, then painted same colour as car. They are the dogs :tsktsk: . Was going to do the lights tonight but after my run in with a bus am leaving them for now until claim goes through.

Got hit by a bus today, not too bad but has left a nice "green flip" on my wing and a lovely little dent. in the words of a great man :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: . the driver even tried to rub his paint off my car to try and avoid blame.

Great day had by all, Joe says a big thanks to everyone and says next time he see's zee's car he will polish off the little finger marks. Nice to meet everyone and who knows we may turn up at JAE(dont think the co-pilot will like camping though!)

Hi all, Went into my local lexus dealer for a price on some shiney chrome headlights (aka zee's car, and grims car) to my suprise and complete shock the nice man behind the counter said he'd give me them for cost price as i'd baught a kit off him. how kind! then he hit me with the price £680 for the pair, is there any alternative that getting them direct from lexus here. does anyone know of a cheaper alternative than this, any help greatfully accepted. cheers neil.

i've just tried elephant and they have told me they cant insure a car with the modifications i'm planning. i only want a factory kit and lowered suspension.
