Started yesterday in the car at 8am then drove all day around track only breaking for lunch or tyre changes, then drove home at 4pm and got stuck in 2 hours of traffic on the m11 :tsktsk: when I finally made it through the traffic I then put the pedal to the floor for the entire journey back and managed to get back in warp speed time, I then ate a quick dinner and had to leave for work Which meant another hour of driving each way and I'm now finally home looking forward to my bed, I don't think I'll want to drive anywhere (unless work related) soon... sick of it Glad to rep for the BMW crowd, only beaten by Russel in the 4WD Celica GT4 so doing well considering I was basically using cheapest possible drift tyres on the rear and didn't expect to be good at all in the wet. Here are the pic's Nat took she kept mistaking other dark coloured cars (particularly Jason's Black Lexus) for my BMW so she got a few good ones of you I love the sideways round the last bend picture, I think the Javelin pics will show some good shots of quite how sideways I kept getting round that 1.. PM me for any High Res copy's not these 800x600 resized versions

My camera mount i made won't be a problem will it with scrutineering?? would like to get some laps recorded on dv cam nothing like a bit of unistrut and nuts and bolts - bit like mechano!

I've managed to talk the other half into coming which is suprising as it means 4 hours in a car together with me driving which usually she would say no fullstop to, I've sold it to her on the fact that i'm convoying up with 3 other cars at not so scary speeds and she can use her new Tripod Digi SLR camera and newly learnt phtopgraphy skills on the day (10 week college course) Is it worth bringing any chairs or even a gazebo thing for the spectators? I have told her to dress for snow and arctic temperatures and secured an umbrella!

just a quickie I was looking at the javelin site for the event and it lists it as sprint/drift, Im interested in both would that mean I pay 75£ + 90£ or does my entry to the sprint entitle me to burn my tyres off at my leisure??

got caught out very recently in a race with a 1.2 nova merit stopped at the traffic lights and the little oik in the drivers seat gave me a nod and reved his brown painted poobox up, i thought this should be fun and got ready it got a worse pull away from the line by me and i thought he was going to be spedning some time in the rear view mirror, only to have him pull past me within 100m after racing upto very illegal speeds and coming to another set of lights did i find out he had stripped anything out of the car but a single bucket seat and rollcage and he had transplanted a 2.ltr turbo calibra engine into it running almost 300bhp all this and a brown 1.2merit shell!!! gotta give him respect for having such a street sleeper catching lots of cars of guard i bet

Love what is being created here, read through this entire thread just to catch up, cant wait to see it! just a little Q, what weight is the is200? and what weight is the supra? surely your putting the engine into a heavier car than the car it was designed for? supra doesnt come with all the luxury that the lexus does, time for some weight loss? also what kind of cost are we looking at here? surely buying a supra would have been a cheaper alternative? and then spending all this money on making that faster, could have had the worlds fastest supra or a supra spec lex? anyways not trying to take anything away from the project just my thoughts on it big respect to all involved
