With my last LS, two air struts failed due to oil leaks rather than air bags. And I agree, there isn't anything you can do to prolong the life. It's just a shame that they're very expensive units.

I guess a couple of obvious questions to ask are, is it a car you're planning to buy, or have you owned it for some time!

It's the same with my Volvo, the main dealer isn't interested! They say "sealed for life" find an indi.

I couldn't agree more, and I can't help thinking things aren't about to improve much. Maybe we should arrange a mass Lexus fan migration to North Korea as an experiment, just for sake of comparison to see if the devil we know is better or not!🤮

If the so called triple lock continues, and the threshold before you pay tax doesn't rise, and they seem to be keeping that as low as possible, it won't be long before the state pension is taxed. But surely that wouldn't ever happen would it.......

It might be more of a shuffle than a march! I'm not convinced 2 million pensioners on a shuffle/march would have any effect on this tunnel vision government. Every day that passes is one day less to the next general election, let's hope people learn from this, although I fear there's more to come!

I disagree with that. I've had LS's with air suspension and LS's without, and I believe the very best and smoothest ride was the LS400 without air. Even if the air system did hold air, on a car of that age it'll be on borrowed time. The fuse for the suspension on the LS430 is in the engine bay on the passenger side (right hand drive) along with various other fuses and is marked inside the cover, perhaps the 400 is the same? The compressor that pumps the suspension is under the wheel arch cover on the opposite side.

And as you will have discovered, a fairly easy job!

The only explanation is surely some globalist agenda that we don't get to hear about. And if I'm not mistaken, isn't 22 billion the same amount as the "black hole" that ended up robbing pensioners?
