  1. I'd be most interested in the rear bumper tbh. I currently have vortex front, sides and rear apron: Prefer that whole rear bumper though, even your pic has the vortex skirts with it ;-) MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  2. I'm interested in this thread also, loving that rear bumper!!
  3. Just read this and actually cried a little :( Never mind....thanks for letting me know mate
  4. Pics look good mate but as a tip: When cleaning your car, always..............ALWAYS put tyre blackener on! ;-) Last moody shot in the harbour is my fave
  5. Signed....but I've signed about 4 of these types of petitions and none of them have changed anything. I also notice that the petition doesn't mention government reducing the tax on fuel which is how we can see lower fuel prices. I live in hope that this one does actually reduce and stabilise fuel prices

  7. People do badge altezza's as IS200's and vice versa mate. The best thing to do is get the chassis number, that'll clarify most things excpet the re-shell but if you're looking at it and find it extremely unlikely then make a judgement call. Mine is registered as an altezza on a T plate but was only imported last year so plate might not be an indication of length of time in the UK. Its probably just a DVLA ***** up or the previous owner trying to get cheaper tax/insurance so just badged it differently think no-one would know any different and they still get the performance of the Tezza. I'm guessing and basing the above on nothing other than speculation but if its got all the bells and whistles of a decent altezza then buy it and whip the badges off then correct the DVLA. Just my 2p mate ;)
  8. Oh and err, its called caps lock and YOURS IS ON..... :-)
  9. I'm in the same boat as you pal. I did drivers side front lower ball joint and droplink at the weekend and its still knocking and its worse than before. I've got HKS coily's so don't think its those making the noise or it'd be more than on just one corner....at least thats my thinking. To make matters worse, in splitting the ball joint, I tore the rubber on the track rod end so its lots all its grease. Then I get in to drive it only to realise the steering wheel has to be about 2 inches left of centre to drive straight. Gonna replace the other side asap to hopefully straighten it up a bit before getting tracking done. From my research, it could be so many things! Next up for me are the upper ball joints and gonna take a look at the roll bar bushings. Oh and replace the track rod end I wrecked :( plus get a better ball joint splitter! Look at it this way mate, you're that much closer to fixing it by replacing the parts you've replaced. CHIN UP, you are by no means alone!
  10. Sorry, totally missed the link! Hmm, reads like good value for money but yeah, please, let me know how you get on with it!! Cheers Andy
  11. Which camera have you gone for then? Link? For £20 I might be tempted!! I have a TV with an empty RCA atm but I don't want it to cut over my music and switch to AUX. I'm in the process of finding a sat nav screen which I can double up as reversing camera which will do me lovely!
  12. I've thought about trying to find a 2nd hand reversing system found on the new GS's but they are rare as not many are being broken! I reckon you could wire those in with a bit of work and they give you reversing angles as a box rather than just a picture if you know what I mean I'll try and get a pic! EDIT : PIC
  13. As title really, I'm after the top part of dash with motorised screen and sat nav a la This Topic I'm probably one of thousands but still...don't ask, don't get!
  14. So, I'm thinking of starting my own forum but don't really know where to start. I've googled it and had a good look around but theres nothing like first hand experience and advice that stems from it! So, does anyone know whats involved and how best to get started? I'll be starting small but will want to expand in time I'm sure! Thanks in advance J3NKO
  15. What is the correct threadsize then? I've been looking at some of the richbrook offerings but would rather get a threaded one than universal :)
  16. I've just broken my old car which was a Celica and have taken the housing and wiring from the doorcards of that with the intention trying to wire to the ciggy lighter. Its part of the same circuit as the roof lighting, its just finding the right wire! From a cosmetic perspective though, I only have two and would want to do all four doors so I've got LED puddle lighting strips instead and I'm going to do something a bit unique with my red lenses
  17. Interesting, feedback on tezzaworld pointed more towards the starter motor and no-one started first time. I guess a new battery is on the cards then. If I'm buying one anyway, I might as well upgrade so I'm off to do some research!
  18. You muppet.... J3NKO knows best ;) Glad its all sorted though, post up some pics of your new bling then!
  19. I'm going to be doing this to mine at some point to go after the facelifted light look. I took apart my FTO lights and sprayed them and its not hard if you're not in a rush. The trickiest bit will be the dremmel on the rear lights but if you go slow, you'll be alright! I say give it a go lads, you'll feel proud when you've done them!
  20. Welcome to LOC buddy! Take a look around, kettle is over there in the corner and while you're there, mines a tea, white, without ;)
  21. Hi Colin, Welcome to LOC! So what are your intentions with it then? Modify or leave as is?
  22. Post a link of the one you want to buy.....
  23. Agreed, that was proper funny. He was talking about the Amazon and he's not been there yet so hoping its on soon. The only episode I've missed is Mexico and its meant to be the funniest so far. I didn't find Egypt that funny so hope the comedy of it hasn't dropped off now he's bored of being landed in scummy hotels and the dumps of each coutry he visits. Will have to see tonight, he's off to see a massive PILON! ***** the Redeemer in Rio De Janeiro!
  24. I can't say for certain as I've never looked at replacing mine but I'd reckon with a sharp knife hacking it off bit at a time. My guess is that underneath will be a metal assembly that Lexus have glued the OEM handle to. I could be a million miles from the truth but its what mitsi did with the FTO. I also guess you're looking at changing the handle for a MOMO or similar? Can you not just slip a new one over the top?
  25. What about a top to toe detail including engine bay? Literally, go to town cleaining it. Take off the wheels and clean the inside of rims, calipers etc. Open the engine bay and get the paintwork and plastics shining like the outside. Perhaps debadge it (where there are no holes on emblems), wet 'n' dry your headlights and fogs to bring them up (how to on here!) then give it a good going over with shampoo, clay bar, swirl removal, polish and wax. Polish wheels and seal for winter, tyre blackener, polish exhaust all that kinda stuff? You could also convert all your rear light bulbs to LED? Got any ICE you want to upgrade? Dynamat and speaker upgrades including the 6x9's? Don't have to be expensive, they'll be better than OEM whatever you get.
