Not a problem i have with mine, and i've not heard of it before either.
Have you spoken to your dealer about it?

seen this before somewhere, it has done the rounds under several different names, still quite good though!
Though i will ask, who in their right mind sits and works these things out?!?!?!?!?! :P

i've always been a fan of the 306 personally, i had a 1.9 D Turbo Sports, and that was as reliable as the Lex is for sure!
Don't know if they made them in auto though.

Yep, got exactly the same problem with my littluns seat!
It's a rear facing Gracco seat, and the seatbelt does extend around it, but only just, which makes getting it out an absolute :tsktsk: !!!!!
What i do to ensure that the seat ain't gonna go anywhere, just incase the seatbelt doesn't have hold properly (coz i thought there was something wrong at first too!) is back the passenger seat up close to it, so that if it does come undone, it can only move about 1/4 of an inch forward.

Probably out of date, it's been about a year since this thread was started!
I'll see if i can dig them up later and put them in again!
You thinking of cleaning your bay out then Ifraz?!?!
Stu

What classes will you be entering that into then Mr E?!?!?!?!?!? :P
It'll be good to see the work thats going on on your IS sometime, hopefully you will be able to bring it to at least one of the shows! Keep up the work on it sir!! :D

No probs!
I really would avoid steam cleaning if you can, water has this horrible tendancy to get into the places that you really don't want it to go, and when you use a pressure flow of water, it gets into even more places that can cause real problems!!!
I just use a valeting firm to come and do mine, they charge £15 for the engine bay, they wash it out, use de-greasant on it, then rinse it out again, then dry it, then they dress all the parts that need it, i.e. covers, paintwork, they even did the manifold heat shield last time!
Not bad for £15 i think!!! (and it takes them over an hour to do!)
See if you can find a local guy to you that does it, they are usually pretty good, and by far the cheapest!
Look forward to seeing your results at the shows this year! :D

Here you go, have a look here!
Should give you all the answers you need!
(you could just do what i did and pay someone else to cut their hands to shreds on the engine instead of you!!! :P)

You're better off getting some engine de-greasant and going like that.
There's a workshop article or similar somewhere on the site, i'll try and find it.

As we all know, show season is on the way!!!! :D :D
So, what have you got lined up for your cars for the shows???
Should be a good year for them, after seeing what sort of work people have been doing on their cars since last year's shows!!

Think it was about that, can't remember for sure. Have you looked in the Group Buy area of the forum?
If you are interested in getting some, why not suggest it as a group buy again? I'm sure that there are a few members that would like to get some!

The list of companies that offer discounts is quite substantial, we curently have in excess of 100 separate companies that offer GOLD members discounts, ranging from 5% to 15% off.
Plus, as a GOLDIE, you get the opportunity to suggest companies for us to approach for discounts, so you can get even more out of the membership if you like!
Seriously man, i've been a member of the club for 20 months now, paid my GOLD subscription twice, and have saved well over double what i have paid out.

Excellent stuff Pete!
Think i might need to give them a call myself, my premium is close to 1k since the accident, and that's with mods declared.
Well thats put some more cash into the fold for mods on Genesis! What you gonna spend it on?! :P

Thats what i have been advised to do, on the strength of this guys knowledge of how the judge will view the case, and that will probably be the outcome anyway. I accepted, but only just to get this ddamn thing out of the way. I've already had my NCB cut down, so it ain't gonna make any difference. The only way i'd get it back would be if the case went 100% my way, and that ain't very likely.
I hope they actually decline the offer, that way i can go to court with it!

Another update here guys
Basically, my solicitor has advised me to accept a 50/50 liability split, and that he will offer this deal to the third party.
After all this time of Tesco's saying "yes Mr Smith we have a good strong case here, and we want to fight it until we get the result we want" thats the end result.
What a crock of s*it.
Not happy.
But, i have instruced the solicitor that i will accept it as 50/50 just to get the fookin thing off my back, with a little additional instruction...........
If they do not accept the offer, or make one that goes in their favour, then there will be no more offers. We WILL be going to court, and I will be pushing for 100% my favour. One chance for the third party to accept, if they don't, well they're gonna have a very expensive bill at the end, as my solicitor is a top one from Liverpool, and will need to travel to Norwich for this, not to mention the fees that will be recovered for his time!
Rant over!

Don't think he'll travel that far for 15 notes!!!!!!!! :D
Have you looked for someone down your way? Avoid the big companies, and try and find someone that does mobile work, thats what i did, and i got a cracking deal!
