I have had a quick look on the search engine, but haven't really found the sort of info i am after, so here goes!

If i was looking at a mark 1 RX, what are the sort of things to be looking out for? I.E. ball joints, gearbox etc etc

Also, what are the differences between the 'drive' on the Mk1 & Mk2?

I had an RX Mk2 SE as a courtesy car a while back, and started looking at one of them to buy, but they are stil well outside of my price range (unless anyone knows of a Mk2 going for sub 20k :P)

Hey guys,

I've been doing a lot of thinking recently, and due to a number of things happening in my life at present, i.e. setting up and running new business, renovating a house and then moving into it, i have decided that for now i'm gonna have to let the discount negotiation side of me go

Well, today is my last day in employment with my current company, and after 5 years of working for them i can only say that i feel very mixed about leaving. :D :D

My old man set the company up in 1997, and unoficially i've been involved in it since then. But my old man has retired and left the company, and now i am leaving too.

I'm excited about my new venture, but sad about leaving here. I hate my job at the mo, and i really don't like the people i work with, but i will miss the place like you wouldn't believe.

Onwards and upwards though! :winky: :duh:

I've just sorted out with Brett that i'm gonna have his wheels that he was selling in Buy N Sell, but i have a bit of a problem..................... Getting Them!

Hi there,

Lexus don't make calipers in any colours other than standard, and they don't put any logo's on them. (This i'm pretty sure of, but i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong).

The rest of us that have different colour calipers have done them ourselves, with either hammerite paint, or you can get caliper paint, or even having them powder coated. The logo's can be bought from the club, and all you do is stick them onto your freshly painted caliper, then seal with a bit of laquer.

do you have side lights in your headlight units? might also be called running lights?

All they are is a direct replacement for the sidelight bulbs as far as i can work out.

Changed mine for LED's a while back, but one of them developed a fault and i attracted the attention of Mr officer, so had to replace them with the standard ones again.

It's in for a service on Wednesday next week, so i'll have a word with them then.

I noticed tonight when i was washing the car that the passenger side rear light unit was filling up with water, and is heavily condensed.

I bought them from a main dealer probably about 9-11 months ago, and was wandering if anyone knew if they would replace them under warranty?

If not, what the hell can i do about it?

I'm sure it won't pass it's MOT like it, and is therefore not road legal.

HELP!
