on the note of ariels, anyone know where i can get a short bee-sting - in silver - type attachment ariel to fit the lexus?

I wasn't knocking it by any means matty! seriously though, does it look the part? pictures rarely do things justice! can you reccomend a good paint shop?! :P

good point i suppose, my car is the same colour as that one, i'll think bout that one for a while! With the spoiler, not sure if it really suits the IS or not, too high! :P

i think theres one of the altezza spoilers going on ebay at the mo, last time i looked it was bout £15, problem is, t's yellow and i have a blue car! :P matt, in one of the piccs there is an 02 plate IS with clear rear fogs, where can i get them, they look the mutts nutts!

Zee, as much as i wish it was mine, it is unfortunatley not! :D i just found a piccy and put it in until i can upload one of my motor, even though it is still absolutley bog standard! :mat: I am looking to mod it very slightly, so when it's done, i will put some piccys on for you all! :winky: If anyone has got any useful links that could help me source the bits i want, please send me them in a PM. :) Cheers Guys! :P

HELP! I spend ages when i polish and wax my car, and every time i do, the bumpers go bloody static on me! :tsktsk: it makes no difference what polish or cloths i use, and it always looks terrible. :yack: Any ideas as to how i can stop this?

Just got the car delivered back to me, and they replaced the reciever for the central locking system. Hope the new one does better than the other one did! We shall see how it fares over the next few weeks! :P

OK, i have a problem with my IS's locking system. I bought the car about 5 weeks ago, and the day after i bought it it went wrong and i couldn't get into it without the alarm going off, as the remote wouldn't work and i had to use the key to open the door. I took it back to the dealer and they sorted it, but it took 3 days to do. They said that the car had somehow managed to wipe it's own memory and forget it had any keys assigned to it. They sorted the problem and said it shouldn't give me anymore hassle. :) It went wrong again this morning. :tsktsk: They have now got it back in for repair, and say that it's probably the reciever for the locking system. Has anyone else had this problem with their car? If so, what was it that actually went wrong? what do i do if it does this when the warranty expires?! :duh:

Ok guys, i'll give the dealership a call on monday and see what they can come up with, but i have never been keen on buying parts from a main dealer (not so bad about cars tho, as this was from one!), becoz in my past experiences they have been ridiculously over priced! If anyone does know of a place for spoilers or have a price for wheels, let me know! CS4 :D

Hi guys! B) just signed up on here co it looks like a good plac to get advice onmy recntly purchased IS200 S. I'm after a rear spoiler for it, and maybe a few other little mods (that don't take it too far away from being standard), possibly a set of Lexus 17" alloys (it only has horrible ugly little 16"s on it at the mo! :yack: ). In particular, i was wandering if anyone knew of a place that does the lexus rear spoiler for it at a reasonable price, but it must look like the standard one. :D Any help would be appreciated guys!
