tesco asked if i had any convictions from the previous 5 years. it's nearly off anyway, but the cheeky sods at the DVLA want another £20 to take them of my license! i don't f :tsktsk: ing think so! they can stay there until i move, then they do it for free! Stu

on your age of car doesn't it always double lock and the second press is just turning off the interior microwave sensor. the at the dealership told me that it ouble locks wen you press it twice, but to be honest, i have no idea! when i press it once the indicators flash once, when i press it again, the indicators flash another 5 times. is it, or isn't it? that is the question! :P Stu

i just ran my renewall quote thru tesco online, as i'm already with them, and this is what came back: 22 years old (23 3 days after new policy) 3 yrs NCB Lexus IS200s aftermarket rear spoiler 10000 miles pa car kept in garage overnight (cough cough) £200 voluntary excess £100 compulsary excess 1 conviction (4 1/2 years ago, 3 points for speeding) £653.10 didn't think that was too bad really, but i intend to shop about! can someone PM me the contact details of Lexus insurance and the Lexus Owners Club insurance please? cheers! what sort of thing do you want??? craig something quite plain, but agressive at the same time. i don't want chrome, as it would look out of place on my motor (see avatar!). i did like the idea of something in quite a light colour, maybe along the lines of the graphix on the evo VII from 2fast 2furious. must be original though! fussy g i t aint i!

for some time i have been thinking about getting some graphix made up for the sides of my IS, and have had no luck in designing any. My cousin will make them up for me, but i want them to be original. As you all did such a nice job on th logo for matts japsai, i thought i'd ask you to come up with some ideas! cue the floods of excellent designs....................... :P Stu

Well, until this morning i had been quite lucky with damage to my cars. Went out to the lex, as i had to park it on the side of the road last nite (unfortunatley a regular occurence until i move house). I always fold the mirrors, put the stop lock on the steering wheel for what it's worth, clear the seats etc etc, and double lock it on the key fob. I also always take the ariel off it, as i have a silver bee-sting shaft, and i had valve caps nicked off my 306 about 8 months ago because they were crome ones, and the little scrotes nicked two of them for their bikes. :tsktsk: . Anyways, to cut a long story short, i forgot to take the ariel out last nite, and when i got to the car today, it wasn't straight, so i put my hand on it to take it out and straigten it, and the fu :tsktsk: ing thing brok off, leaving the screw thread in the hole. it's fluch in there, and i have no idea how i'm gonna get it out. Why do people do this kind of thing? i've worked so hard to get this car, and then it gets damaged. i know it's only minor damage compared to some of the posts in here, but it still really pis :tsktsk: es me off big time. Anyone have any ideas about getting the screw thread out? Stu P.S. bring back vigilante hit squads for those who vanalise cars.

i got a nice digital camera, a really cool miniature remote controlled car for work (it's called a 'desktop toy') a few other bits, and an england rugby world cup DVD! Pretty cool really!

I was just going out for a walk after my X-Mas lunch today, and happened to look at the lex, and needless to say i was horrified at what i saw! SHE WAS FILTHY! In all fairness though, it has been real nasty weather round here recently, and the roads have been terrible, and i just haven't had the time to wash it! So, i thought i'd see if anyone could beat the state of my car with theirs! No prizes, just a bit of fun! Only piccy etries are accepted! dirty lex!
