Hmm motorsportworld said about 6 wks to arrive for what im after :( (not really too much a problem) saying that not sure if it include christmas & new yr coming up ! total cost from motorsportworld be £140 include shipping whereas from rhdjapan.com (another gd company i used in past & didnt get stung by custom at the time) total be £120ish incl shipping & its in stock at the min, but the dreaded custom charge of however much :( decisions decision..........

Im sure the Legato was sold alongside the standard GS300(with leather), guessing the legato was cheaper as there isnt leather, the mk 2 GS300 S (i think is called) sold in UK didnt have leathers, sunroof + few other bits the SE had, i do know some yrs ago japan market & demand was fairly diffirent from UK/Europe & america hence some LS400 / GS300 etc in japan dont have leather same with honda legend now i think its changed as they now use the Lexus brand in japan !

OK forgot to ask earlier + i searched up abit on common faults of a IS200 that are CD player error message, corroding wheels but mine was fully refurb before picking it up :) but is there any like gear box, cv joints ( i say CV joints as there common problem on older mazda 323f's that need replacing after time) or any engine issues ? i know on celica's 2000 onwards there was oil problem or something on the early models and on the VVTL-i the 'lift' bolts gets worn same issue with the corolla t-sport obviously the is200 dont have 'lift' on the vvti

What difference does it make ? i know what it stands for limited slip diiffrential in other words what does it do ? there are lot i dont know about cars !

No its a uk spec, special edition not many made as i remember reading article about it, i guessing it was bit cheaper than a standard GS300 since there isnt leather seats not sure what other differences !

I had a bit of free time this afternoon whilst waiting to pick the wife up from work so i called in at the local Toyota dealer. The part number for the IQ stubby aerial is 86309-42080 and it's £23.93+vat. Think i'm gonna have a go at filing the end of my S2000/CTR aerial thread off first as it's the correct size thread but just slightly too long and it doesn't sit flush with the base when fully screwed on. How did you find the reception on the S2000 antenna ? i got one the weekend fitted it(from ebay) & yes it is slightly too long so i gonna try filing it abit. As i havent driven the car due to the snow living in the cul de sac(no gritters road turned to a ice rink practically :( ) & a hilly road so no good for a RWD car! I tested the radio channels well 2 of them and they sounded fine but maybe is another matter if the cars moving ?

Im to get Eibach springs -30mm, think few is200/300 owners got them fitted, -30mm not the lowest or to some people not low enough but noticeble if you want really low then coil over is best option, i had eibachs fitted on my last 2 cars very pleased with them, doesnt affect ride comfort maybe unoticeble but noticeble it handles better round the bends thats why i be getting the brand again ! not sure of Tein,gmax or Pi as such...

Wow i like that good work :) is 50mm all round only in springs ? i keep the rear spoiler as it is than a larger spoiler, thats jst me but hey your car..........your choice........ a TRD front lip wouldnt go amiss, there quite aherm 'cheap' from lexus i paid £140 all in just need painting & fitting!

I found a site uk based thats also a online shopping for car bits My link are they any good ? anyone bought from them ? I noticed some Cusco strut bars amongsts some other branded bits for the IS200 & their prices isnt bad compared to some other UK based companies ! damm liking something too much really isnt good at times! temptations!

I lknow the purpose of them has anyone got one fitte don a IS200 6cyl ? i read on another forum a altezza forum some got them, oil catch can come in 2 pipe diameter a 9mm & 15mm hose ? anyone know which one? i know mine isnt turbo or supercharge but it does look good in the engine bay imo !

Looks like good buy there, same colour as mine, 130k miles wow thats alot amazing how good these engines are bet it still sound & goes !

Had the lexus is200 for 2 years not really done alot to it just few tweaks here and there as you do, look foward to getting help/advice from this site ! Lots of great cars by looking through some posts ! J
