  1. yep, tints were mainly used by the old mafia dons, using limo black tints on every piece of window there is!

there inside view was perfect clear like there is no tint paper attached.

old classic cars not sure from what age, are still allowed tints of which ever shade..

as for us lot we are only allowed from the centre pillar backwards of any shade.

have done window tinting 2 years at a company and use to also get people who wanted front screens but they never tinted the sides.

I see a lot of people today with tinted front screens, its a different ball game altogether and think looks fantastic!

  2. you undo the nut then tighten up the bolt to tension the belt more. the more you tight it the more it will tighten up.

then at the end tighten the nut back up. the only prob is there is very little room to get there so be patient. if you could access from under the car its easier.

a bit of wd40 or similar lubricant helps on the adjuster bolt.

    all the best -

  3. you don't need to tint the screen as mentioned they come with a slight tint standard.

if so your asking to go head on with some vehicle!

its enough doing the side windows at front.

and guaranteed 3 points fixed penalty if stopped by the copper with the machine. also insurance is void incase of accident.

however, there is a tint film from usa where its clear on the inside and tint on the outside, wont effect drivers view. very expensive and very rare tint people use them.

  4. well the coils are electrical and never know when they will pack up. having old used/worn plugs can put a strain on the coils more.

the rubber cover seals are same as new coils from a dealer'

not only that, he's engine looks neat and clean compare to some engines I have seen.

    all good :winky:

  5. Westlake tyres are ok and last very long. Hankook would be a better budget tyre.

BUT on an is300 I would not use either of them china brands.

personal preference and driving styles come in to play.

and George, up your tyre pressure up a little and get the tracking checked.

  6. well gee, I have tried 40/42 psi & what a diff it made. superb drive & for some weird reason the harsh ride is not as worse as 35 psi!

32 psi was sucking my fuel & you are correct on the lag. although it was very comfy like sitting on a leather sofa at home.

the car seems alive & more spirited.

I know the suspension will have to work more, rather use that than put more strain on the engine & gearbox. :phone:
