  1. It cant be harder than soldering 23 wires on to a playstaion 2 mobo and i can do that :winky: Wat would the exchange programme involve?
  2. Ive also read sumwhere that the IS is quite dependant on backpressure though, and you can even loose HP if you take too much out, this is wat put me off the powerflow option so ive gone for the Peco back box. theres nothing wrong with the standard exhaust as far as doing its job,ppl get the other zausts for sound and performance ,but i have a feeling you know this judging by your boyracer comment in fidgits peco post :P
  3. :yack: ill prolly end up going to powerflow to have this taken owt then cause thats bound to dull the sound ov the bb4.
  4. Is there a box between the back box and the cat on an IS200?
  5. No just the parts! I dont have headlight washers i only have the S model Ive gone for TTE side and rear but 2002 styling kit front bumper because its a cracking price to say it includes the sports grille :) and its not 2 fast 2 furious ;) thanx for your comments. ive also got PI springs on the way and a Peco BB4 when its all done ill post pics. P.S. only had the car about 3 weeks and only been a GOLD Member 4 days and already saved over £200 :)
  6. Barrow-in-Furness m8,and i wish i was young enough to be a boy racer :P
  7. Iya fidgits,im in the market for a new exhaust and have a few questions for ya :). 1.Is your zaust the Peco BB4 backbox only? as ive just priced one at Halfords and its £213 fitted which i didnt think was too bad. 2.Im not interested in any performance gain all im after is a nice sound.is the sound noticably differant (louder)to the std back box ? I priced a powerflow up and they wanted £325 for a decat straight through pipe and back box but im not sure if ill lose too much backpressure with this so if i can get away with just a peco and save over £100 thatll be nice :) thanx in advance Phunt
  8. Thanx insider but i ordered my kit b4 i got to see this message.im getting the 2002 styling kit front bumper (the one that has the sport grille built in :)) and the std side skirts and rear addon skirt.Got the lot from a very nice lex dealer who doesnt partake in the 15% discount but beat one that does :) sorry if the dealer info is a bit vague but im not sure if im allowed to mention it,anyway it was £662 for the lot.thanx again

  11. Hi all, i'm in the market for a bodykit for my 200 S but there seems to be quite a lot to choose from.I'm thinking of getting the normal side skirts and the addon rear skirt but i would like something a bit differant up front.so could i plz have peoples ideas on which front bumper or addon skirt is the sexiest (with pics pref) and available in the UK would be nice:) Thanx in Advance Phunt
  12. Well ive just phoned the company to see about getting them changed and he sed they all come as ET35 and then there machined back to ET42 could this be correct?
  13. i Know they fit as there on my car now and it drives fine. just wondered if it would be better to send them back in the long run.
  14. I received my 17" Hi-Octane 147's today and they look sweet,i will post some pics tommorow but........ When i ordered them the guy said they would be ET42 offset , my invoice has ET42 on it but all the wheels have ET35 stamped on the inner hub.my queiry is... should i return them and get them to send the correct offset or will it not really make any differance.the car feels fine to drive and i havnt heard any scrubbing yet. Thanx in Advance Phunt
  15. Thats exactly wat i was aiming for.somewhere noobies can go to look at how happy ppl are to have joined GOLD .This would eleveate the doubts that i first had when joining .After all most noobs have just bought there car so cash can sumtimes be tight and the last thing you wanna be throwin £25 at is something you dont know exactly wat your gettin.they just need that extra push ;) i know the 2 links did it for me :) thanx guys

  17. Phunt, I hope you are enjoying club membership and are finding useful information. I guess my only point to the ones made above is this one from mudzs that seems to have been overlooked. I understand your dileama about wasting £25 that could go towards half a tank of petrol. However, although offers, discounts etc are all very well, the information, advise and general support from the club is something we all chip into for free. However, there are of course overheads to running a club such as this to give you what you need. I think I speak on behalf of all the committee and moderators, that your support is VERY much appreciated, and with the support from our gold members, we can only assist this club in becoming even bigger, better and the best Lexus Owners Club there is. I hope - whatever you decide - you enjoy the benefits the club has to offer you. Zee. thanx for your comments zee but you also appear to have missed my point.Im not denying this is a great site and im not denying there are huge savings to be had (thats obvious from the amount of satisfied customers)and i to think every1 who joins this club should stump up the cash for gold membership as the cost is far outweighed by the benefits.the topic is "Make GOLD more appealing".Im making this suggestion for NEW members who havnt had time to realise wat a good site it is.Im only saying there is not a lot of info about just exactly wat the benefits are. I hope ive acctually got my point across this time as im feeling a bit of anamosity around this post.and that was never my intention.im beggining to wish i hadnt opened my mouth.just thought it woulda been nice to put a bit back in(aswell as the £25 i WILL be paying for the GOLD) :) when i can calm wifey down
  18. Wat sort of ££££ am i lookin at for a proven product? its not power gain or looks im going for with an exhaust its sound really :)

  21. DVD -R works fine in most standalone players :) the tesco dansai and asda pacific and my Tosh to name a couple. if any1 has any questions on this matter feel free to ask as im quite knowlegable in this field ;) SHHHHHHHH
  22. well thanx for the interesting reading.I understand a bit more now why its kept so hush hush, and from reading those links it makes me wanna be a gold member even more.so maybe thats the answer :) a Pregold members forum where posts like that are pinned so everyone can see the benefits, cause ive been sat in front ov these forums for about 2 weeks solid every night now (very very addictive) and i cant say i remember reading those posts. thanx for the responses :)
