Hehe the post incident looks way worse than it actually wasi was about 5 feet away from it.The zaust is a straight pipe from the cat (removed lexus standard middle box) to wat the guy in the workshop called a jap box he didnt give it any other name.all the cats are still intact and there is no other engine mods.

Here is a video me and a freind took today in the multi story.You'll have to excuse the language of my freind,he got slightly annoyed by a young whippersnapper razzing around on his moped lol.Just as a side note i dont usually drive like this (as you can tell by the lame drifts) and i still feel guilty about doing it to my pride and joy,but i just wanted you guys to here the powerflow as there not very highly thought of on these forums it seems. What are you basing this very harsh reveiw on? have you ever driven a Lex that is fitted with Pi's? I have the Pi's and find them to be very good.I also had eibachs on my mondeo (bigger car) and the ride was very stiff and uncomfatable.and Pi's drop an extra 5mm which can only be a good thing;) Just thought id add my 2 pence worth as ive had experiance with both.

Could be the bottom ball joints!!! i beleive there quite prone to going on the IS.

I dont want this to turn into a slangin match but from your post you were obviously very annoyed at someone because you were using words like flippin and bugger and bloomin and in CAPS to.my point was.... they were stating there opinion on the board (which is what the thread was for) and you were stating your opinion on the members.

Well i dont wish to add more fuel to the fire but you cant really knock sumone for being honest.I dont think this thread was just created for the poeple who like the new look,personally i much prefered the old look,to me it looked more classy and more befitting the lexus name but i wasnt going to post my opinions because i didnt want to offend those who obviously spent a lot of time doing it.But to flame sumone for just giving there opinion kinda belittles the whole idea of a forum doesnt it?Plus the fact we pay a subscription to this great site (well the goldies do)and should be able to have our say whether it be posative or negative!

By the looks of it the original intake has been hacked to direct cold air straight onto the mushroom thang.just like a K+N 57i where you get a bendy pipe to direct airflow from the front of the car to the cone filter.

Well ive been to get my powerflow done today and you guys were right about the Cat.it isnt really possible unless you get the ecu remapped.this is the explanation as to why. The guy sed it was a 2 way lamda senor.one lambda before the cat and one lamda after the cat.obviously it gets a richer reading from the first and then a leaner reading after the cat then the ecu does its little trickery and adjusts things accordingly.But if you remove the cat the ecu would receive more or less the same reading from both which would totally confuse the poor fella and it would see this as a major fault with the engine.Hence it doesnt work to well. Anyway i just got the middle box removed and changed the peco backbox for wat the guy called a jap box and i must say its the most enjoyable mod ive ever done!!!! the car feels much more reponsive and it sounds absaloutly amazing.very loud and maybe not to some ppl's liking but very much to my liking :) im going to try and record it and post it as an mp3 or video.

The main cat is more or less in the centre of the car.

Thanx for the replies but im talking about the main cat not the precats.

Im booked in to have a powerflow and decat tommorow but as i was inder the car today changing the oil filter i had a mooch around the exhaust and it looks quite complex. The pipe on the cat at the engine side looks quite fat because it comes in from 2 pipes on the down pipe and the lamda sensor is on the other side between the cat and the middle box.will these factors mean its not going to be possible?
