  1. Well if you say it doesnt spark, but cranks and delivers fuel, it sounds to me like the key isnt propperly coded for the immobiliser. :)
  2. You say the previous owner told you it was the Immobiliser that was the problem. Leaving the car with the battery off overnight, doesnt reset immobiliser. Do you have the Master Key for the car(Small gray one)? Have you tried to Code the keys to the Immobiliser again?
  3. Well my gearbox doenst have a sound in 6th gear, and it have done 128k miles. But i have welded the 2 mass flywheel together on my mates IS200, and it engages the clutch mutch smoother, it was wobbly before. But i dont know if it may be making the sound on yours.
  4. You put a used box on it? How many miles? If you put a used box on it, it properly have the same internal problem.
  5. I bought it from a guy here in denmark. He have had it mounted on his IS200 for 5000Km and i payed £100 for it.
  6. My IS200 does the exact same thing. Havnt had it on a lift yet though, but i think it is the brake caliber pins, not 100% sure though.
  7. okay, so i should go for the 18x7.5" wheels with like 215/45-18"?
  8. The only things that was done on the car before the dyno run was the KN Filter panel and a HKS Silent Hi Power exhaust. The car put out 154HK and 219NM at the wheel. So really pleased with the result :)
  9. Cool, the calculator says it to be The Same position of the wheel and considering that it is only gonna be 1inch bigger wheel i get on, that shouldnt be a problem with clearance with fenders right?
  10. Hello, I´m looking into buying some new rims for my Is200, but i´m not sure what the stock ET of the wheels are? I was looking at the Ultralite GT-II 18/8½(or 7½ ET42)they are ET 35. Will they fit? My IS is lowered about 55/50 i got a Coilover suspension. // Patrick M.
  11. Shafik: The Japspeed does not fit straight on! Well, it fits straight on but it looks like *****, it sits 10cm under the bumper, it is not straight on the bumper hole and it sticks about 15cm outside of the bumper the fitting is really *****. So if you want it looking just somewhat good, Modding on the mounts is required, you need to cut some of the end and you need to make a hole and threads for the Lambda probe if you buy the catback system. I just got the japspeed catback-exhaust 2 weeks ago and i´m not impressed. I drove 2 weeks with it and i have now taken it off again and fittet a HKS Silent Hi Power instead(Perfect fit and nice sound) The Japspeed is xtreme lound inside the car when driving normal 2200-3200Rpm. But that is just my eksperience with the exhaust :) Dont know if i was just unlucky and got an exhaust that was made in a hurry.
  12. I just had my Lexus on the Dyno last week, and it lost 4HP with the Pipercross Induktion kit, compared to the stock intake with KN filter panel. It put out 154HP with Stock intake and KN panel filter and 150HP with Pipercross induktion, and the graph was looking mutch smoother with the Stock intake aswell.
  13. What Sprinter2012 said. So if you aren't gonna be pulling some really heady loads, i dont think it will be a problem. Maybe the trailer will tilt abit down in the front.
  14. Just had my Lexus on the dyno last week, and it put out 154HK and 219NM(161ft-lb). It was power at the wheel. My lexus is stock besides a Catback exhaust and KN-filter insert(Stock intake). It is a 99' and have run 206.000Km(128.000miles) So i´m really pleased with the result, it have keept all its power over the years :)
