  1. Chris, where are you getting this info? I have worked for Toyota/Lexus here in denmark for nearly 5 years now and i have never come across a master key with buttons, unless someone have coded it to be the master key. The light gray key is always the master key. You can always code a new key as long as you have a functional key with remote lock/unlock in it. But tomorrow i will try to delete and then re-code a key for my IS and we will see if it works without me using the master key and just using a regular key.
  2. Oh, i was looking for the part number for the Dash Tray. The lid you get for the top box, like this threat is about. Not a double din frame. :)
  3. I´m pretty sure that you can just buy a new 3 button key, and have it coded at your local Lexus/Toyota Dealer. As long as you have a key with the correct Immobiliser code on, you can get it working. And the unlocking door part you can also do, as long as you have a key with remote lock/unlock.
  4. No point in waisting your money on an "Upgrade" oil filter, when the original one is more than sufficient.
  5. The IS have adjustable Camber in the rear aswell as in the front. So it can be the tracking thats off. I have done 220.000km in my Is200 and all my bushings are ok. So im guessing that it is either your camber that needs adjusting or if you have hit a curb sideways, that can set it off aswell. But the garage should be able to see whats wrong when doing a tracking.
  6. Does any of you know the partnumber for it?
  7. I work at Toyota/Lexus here in Denmark and 90915-YZZJ3 Is the Correct part number for the OEM filter for IS200.
  8. Just to make sure here. The wheel isn't put on with bolts. It is fitted with wheel nuts. There is supposed to be 4-5cm of thread still fitted to the wheelhub :) You know this, right?
  9. Yea, the rust is pretty common. Just remove your wheels, sand of the worst of the rust and paint it with some high temperature brake/exhaust paint. Remember to cover the braking surface with masking tape(Important!)
  10. Yes, Pads go on the inner side, and the indicator have to be closest to the rotation direction.
  11. 1: No, you dont need to replace anything when lowering it. 2: If you buy Coilovers, you dont need to change the springs. You should buy some decent ones with adjustable rebound. You can fully adjust the rideheight and Spring Rate with the adjusters on the coilovers.
  12. I would say new Cat. You cant count on the Sensor after the Cat if the Cat is clogged up. Edit: You can count on the sensor, but you will get a very different reading from the front ones :)
  13. I dont know how many amps those lights are using, but it might be that the fuse is to small for those bulbs. I would just sudgest some regular bulbs for it instead of LED's.
  14. You need to buy this ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180654630121?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2648 ) And some bulbs for it. Then you need to solder it in place instead of the original Fog light bulb holder and the extra wire you are gonna solder on to the numberplate light.
  15. hmm, link doesnt seem to work. Copy and paste this into google, and follow the first link. "DIY: The Skyline mod (a.k.a Fog to tail light conversion)" Patrick Lindblom have made an exelent guide, showing how it is done.
  16. http://www.**********club.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=10131 Here is a full guide of the mod. You need some new bulb holders, that have 3 wires going out, so you can fit a 5/21 bulb in it. // Patrick M.
  17. Hi, I have seen alot of Pagid brakepads that are noisy, when you brake. If you get a pair of pads that are noisy, make sure to complaint straight away, they will give you a new set. Else then that, they are fine :)
  18. Hi, I have Powerflex Bushings and a BC Racing BR Coilover suspension. I can only say that it drives well on track and on road. // Patrick M.
  19. The are no caliber slide pins in the back. :)
  20. The reason the swap have been done in the US is because it is a IS300. It is abit longer that the IS200 and it have engine mount, gearbox mount, driveshaft, gearbox etc already matched for the 2JZ-GTE. Because it runs with a 2JZ-GE from stock. Making the swap in a IS200 is abit of a job. You would have to make custom mounts for the engine and gearbox, custom driveshaft/spacer, custon exhaust, and i believe the intake has to be modified so it doesnt hit the firewall. But that is the easy part, the hard part is to get the wiring harness set up with the stock harness.
  21. The clutch arm is activated by a hydraulic Slave Cylinder.
  22. prolex-uk.com has 3 different sets of steel dials :)
  23. As the others say, take it to the shop and let them do a Pressure-Test of the cooling system, they should have the gear for that.
  24. Hi, I have been looking for an old topic about the supercharger where there was a buying list of what you needed, but cant seem to find it. I have bought the Eaton M62 Compressor. Piping and IC is no problem to get a hold of and make for me. But i was wondering what else i need? Where do i get the double pulley for the extra belt? And mounts do i have to custom make ones? How do i control the preasure of the compressor? What engine management should i buy, or is it possible to get a chip for the stock ECU? // Patrick M.
