  1. I just bought a T reg from the Manchester Dealer. I only found there to be about a £600'ish difference from looking around private sales/independant garages. The service that I have received has more than made up for the extra. As for the snow button. The book say's it just reduces the amount of power supplied to the rear wheels (under about 6 mph I think) so would only make a difference if your heavy footed or often wear wellies !
  2. This club is sooo useful. For people to take the time to produce such detailed reports is great. Thanks. I hope this continues and when I have a few more weeks/months under my belt I hope to contribute my experiences. Trev.
  3. I've had my 43,000 mile is200 S for 2 weeks and it has always opened fully from keyfob. As an aside. Do we know what range the keyfob works from. I keep trying from further distances just to see. I'll probably get something nicked from the boot before I get to it at this rate !
  4. Another reply from a newby. I've had my is200 S for 2 weeks. Amazing. I bought a T reg from a Dealer so you get all the Lexus approved used car stuff, which knocks any other dealer warranty for 6. As we all agree the standard speed is not fantastic but the total package is unreal. I have a SV650 bike for real speed thrills... there's no better combination of transport . Trev
  5. Hi all, I have only had my T reg is200 S 2 weeks but it went into the dealers to get some minor stuff done (driver mirror, tracking). I had a 2002 loan car and the brakes were from a different plant. should I expect my brakes to be so inferior ? Trev.:sniff:
  6. David, I'm afraid I can't add any comparisons as I have only ever driven the 'S' model. But what I can say is that you won't be disappointed. I sometimes wish I'd holded out a bit longer and got an SE but that's purely because I want bigger wheels (maybe upgrade myself later). Good luck in deciding and enjoy. Trev.
  7. Hi chaps n chapess', This is my first post so forgive any small errors. I just wanted to say and that 2 weeks ago I became the proud owner of an is200. Details: box standard, Aztec, T reg, £12,900 bought from Lexus Manchester. I had been looking locally and found private sales not to be much lower than the dealers so I just went forit. Gutted to find this morning guy in London selling V reg sport for £12,950..... I hope to contribute to this board but I'll probably be asking more than advising as I'm so new to the world of Lexus....but I like it. Trev.
