mine was a universal replacement but one already fitted so it was easy , not sure hoe easy to replace the original lexus one apparently some have relay for fog lights on them this had a whole lot of fittings and quite easy to do i had seen some refurbished ones on usa ebay 2 types early and later around $100. thankfully it works and looks ok quite alot of universal ones on e bay

one of the few advantages of being retired is that,like this morning it was a bit sunny able to get out and clean car in the week,so its had wash and a layer of wax.then charged with enthusiasm i fitted a new electric aerial. i'd had a look last week at the aerial and it was not the original lexus one when i look for replacement on e bay there was one on there exactly the same ,so it was easy swop, so that works as well,good result for 24 pounds i put some pictures on if i can i know some of you like pics.i know my car has hint of drug dealer about it,but a great car for retirement bit different from a honda or hyundai the usual stuff,this gives you a big smile when you go out

hi, the 2nd lexus ls400 i bought when ,i was looking for a car quickly.cos i lost job and company bmw 530d i got with 224000 miles on it ,it had been owned by the same lady 2nd owner for 14 yrs, had nearly all lexus s/h. i had it for 18 months never any trouble,i had to change aerial and repair leak on power steering, i changed the oil and filters twice, thats all,237000 when sold ,it was in a garage for £895,not many people want a k reg lexus, really ,i haggled it down to 650 with b6mths tax and sold it for £560,that cheap motoring ii a luxury car cos it drove still beautifully, past mot with no advisories 2week before i sold it,you need to see it and make your mind up re condition s/h etc doesnt have to be lexus if its looked after you can tell, plenty of good ones around for not much money

until recently i used to drive a mercedes e class from poole to airports every day mosts weeks it was doing 1200 miles a week and it was pretty reliable, tho it was a 2010 model, the older ones on fleet had issues with injector seal leaking and fuel pumps injector seem to need seals about 120000 get black gunge everywhere,they not so bad as some had 500000 miles on them.driving that allday when i got back into lexus,which was much older never felt worse ,quieter if anything,the mk4 i got now prob even better. women tend to like cars with badges on that impress thier friends and seem to worry about number plates, mine i think used to moan about me having a k reg. i would'nt swap mine

thanks alot for that info, i have seen info on rebuilt,i think in capable of that so i may try that ,i also have a look at us ebay, i would like to keep it original really

my aerial is stuck out and won't move,what is the best plan, try to change the mast,new aerial quite exspensive, cant seem to find used one,at moment, do the universal ones change over ok.anyone done that,.its on a mk4 ls ,any one got information,i had this on my last k reg but managed to get s/h one then,probadly have to wait for one,
