hi there. im off to japan next week to try and catch the next 2 rounds of the D1 at suzuka and the sugo round. is there any one on here who might know where to purchase tickets for any of these such events. or may know some one in japan who might be going to this that could reserve or get the tickets for me. any help or info on this would be great. many thanks in advance. socks.

yes its 4k then the vat and then delivery. what an expensive plant they are. that would work out about 8k euro. thats sounds crazy just for a engine. mr singh can you let me know how much you are looking for the head.

its the 4th generation one i think out of the altezza.would they still be abel to source one. as it just seems to be all mr2 stuff that they do.

hi guys. just wondering if any one on here could let me know where the best place would be to look for a 3sge plant other than japan. and how much i would roughly be looking at for one of these. its for a mates mk2 escort rally car if one can be sourced. would even consider a tuned one if it was available.

yes the return spring is ok. and we checked my car aswell and it just buzzes the same. when it cuts out it kind of pushes the pedal back to you come off it. and then throttel graduly comes back to normal again. but soon as you sink your boot down it revs to 5000 and cuts out.

hi all. mates car has problem in the throttle body aera.when you bog the toe in it the engine dies but no lights come on. and there is a slight push back on the pedal. soon as you lift off again it comes back to its self but it looses sensitivity.when you do this with just the car ignition on you can hear something sticking on like a buzzing and does not release its self untill you switch the ignition off.any ideas what this might be.

hi there.would there be any chance of some one on here having a new release bearing about them for a altezza .or know where i can get one asap.as i have a trd clutch set up sitting ready to go in but no release bearing and my local toyota garage said it would be a over a week before he can get it.

i need one of these to ASAP its clunking and banging like mad.so if any one can lets us know best place to get one of these would be great and a clutch kit to.

i had the same problem.thought it was a bearing turned out it was the tyers.i put a new set on and it was gone.

i would like to go trd style like your self with the fly wheel. i have to see if i can get some more dosh gatherd up. was the 365 pound the shipping/postage as well or just the kit.im sorry to hear about your altezza mate. theres nothing as sick as your pride and joy not going.hope you can get it sorted soon.

hi there.just wondering if any one have clutch about them or there garages or could let me know where best place is to get one. there is a bad knocking noise when i take my foot off the clutch peadel i think it is the release bearing its really bad rattel if something is going to break please corect me if im wrong.clutch is not slippng but would put whole kit in when i would be at it.

hi all just a quick question.dose the vvti system have to come apart when taking the head off.

i was just curious as there is always alot of talk about them on the net when you be searching for info about altezza 3sge engines. i seen the car on a jap site and is damaged its 98/09 and is a g limited type E-SW20-ACMQF-L with 107km.they are looking for 200.000 yen for it would it be worth snaping up at this price.

hi all any one on here know how much a mr2 red top 3sge is worth.and is it true they only ever made 200 of them.

i be leaving it with mechanic this week maybe he can check that and find out whats realy gone wrong.any one know where or who would be best for parts for the 3sge cause im sure i will be needing some.

i dont think its the coil packs. i tried one off another altezza and was still the same. it all happend on wednesday night, i was going up a steep hill in second gear betwen 4 and 5 thousand revs and just on the change over of the vvti it smoothly went off a cylinder. there was no warning lights on so i chanced driving home. next day i took the cover and coil packs off to find one of my plugs had blown out and smashed and burned all the bottom end of the coil pack. so got new plugs and went to fit them to find out the threads was gone. so when i sorted that out with a heli coil and got new plug in along with a good coil pack its knocking now and is still off a cylinder.

hi guys need some good advice and probably loads of parts, as topic says my car is not well. to start with its only running on 3 cylinders and is making a nasty nock.there is no warning lights or any thing on and there is no smoke. i think it is in the head some where. any one any idea what would be wrong or whats likly to be broke inside the head. any help much appreciated socks

sorry i did not see your post earlyer same thing happend my altezza the spring broke in the throttle body leaving it stuck full open car reved its head off then shut down any way fella that was doing the work got a spring out of another toyota throttle body of some kind and fixed it so dont think it will take that much to sort yours out 1400 is a bit much to be handing out over the head of a broken spring hope you see this before you go ahead with it

any one fancy a taxi run from milton keynes to towchester would love a spin in a boosted altezza hint hint

hi Sean.i think a nice of white ones with a good dish would look the bizz as white wheels on white cars looks good. but as they say different strokes for different folks. :)
