  2. i dont have a walk through but i can give you general steps. 1. If your seats fold down that might make it easier. There should be a spread out line of plastic pins that hold the cardboard type material in the back window down. these pins will be right behind where the headrests lay in the back seat. Be careful and pop all these pins. 2. From here you need to slide that panel out making sure the clips near the window are disconnected too. 3. Disconnect the factory speaker wire and unscrew the four screws holding the speaker down. If you have the same size speaker as the one in ther (6X9) then you just wire it up and drop it in. If you dont, time for some customizing!!! :D :D hope this helps...Millatyme

  4. from inside the trunk take off that carpeted shield. there are like 3 or 4 nuts to take off then the light pops out and u just twist the bulb u want off....and replace it
  5. Hey guys and girls, I am thinking about upgrading my speakers in my 94 ES300 and was woundering if anyone could please inform me on what size speakers are in the top dash, and front door panels. I know 6x9's are in the back window. thanx in advance to anyone who can fill me in!!:yes: PS: speaker diameter and depth would be greatly appriciated!!

I am happy with my K&N High Flow Preformance Filter....I have had this filter ever sence I bought the car so i dont know what it adds performance wise..but it only costs about $45 and has a lifetime warranty. I just cleaned mine today and it had some pretty good build up on it and when I washed it (is reusable/wasable) the throttle responce was substantially better...K&N if you ask me!!!

  12. The other day im driving home and its raining so I have my wipers on and its fine till I try and lower the speed. When I do this the wipers are frozen and I preceed to put them at the faster pace again. They dont jump back into action right away either but move slightly for a couple seconds and start going again. By this time I'm just happy they are working b/c of the heavy rain!! So when I get home and the rain has stopped i try to fiddle with them and they wont even start up. Not only do the wipers not work but the washer fluid doesnt squirt anymore. Im not sure if this is a bad column switch or the motor has gone? If anyone has had this problem or anything similar a suggestion or where to start will be greatly appeciated!!
  13. I SEE THE LIGHT!!! thanx for pointing that out for me... and it definity needs to be replaced and looks very easy to do. So when i order this from a dealer what do i ask for, the front motor mount? The reason i say this is b/c i want to make sure they send me this part and not something that is in the "front" of the engine:D where are the other motor mounts located? And how hard are those to replace?

Is there anyway u could describe where to look for this front motor mount? b/c I have no idea where to look... I also own a 94 ES300 so would the mount be located in a different spot? thanx a lot for ur patience...im just a beginner:o:o
  16. hey guys... ok when i recieved my car in August I was aware that the air hose coming from the air box was broken... Not knowing what caused it and that it just needed to be replaced I didnt think much of it only because the owner before me taped it up with electrical tape and it looked pretty secure...then after reading a copuple threads in here about motor mounts i realized that i need to replace my motor mounts- 1. b/c they are way over due and I can definitly feel it when I punch it or even put the car in reverse before i back out in the driveway in the morning . 2. b/c they are probably what broke that air hose in the first place. So one of my questions is how much does a replacement air hose go for? And another question is where are the motor mounts located so i cant look and see which if not all need to be replaced? thanks a lot for your help and time!!! Miletyme
  17. thanks i like it a lot.. and it is in really good condition. But here in th US there are a couple black ES's floatin around...:sniff::sniff:..but i enjoy my car a lot....it is really smooth...this is the first car i have ever been in where i have to keep on lookin at the RPMs while im stopped to make sure the car is still running (b/c it is SOOOO quiet):tumble::smilegrin:

I have a 94 ES300 and i wanted to run subs and an amp too but from what i understand there are no RCA outputs in factory decks and there are two alternatives to this problem that i have stumbled upon thus far....one: invest in a "add a circuit" to ur ignition fuse located in ur fuse box...and run the remote wire to this, also u need to (if amp has them) conect one pair of speaker level inputs from ur rear window speakers for the sound signal......option two: conect the speaker level imputs the same way and conect remote wire to a custom switch(this is what i am doing) so that u have total controll on when ur amp is on....be sure that u dont directly wire the amp to the battery in such a way that it is on all the time so u dont drain ur battery......for both of these steps u will also need a power cord and ground cord to even get the amp powered...hopes this helps....good luck

  20. i had a problem of my car stalling out in mid dirve.....like i was driving and it just turned off and on but i had to pull over put the car in park before i could start the car again....i ran this by a couple of people a little while ago in another thread and they couldnt even begin to suggest a solution...anyways today on my way to the parking-lot I put my key in the ignition and nothing goes at all...not even a click...so i do what every uneducated person would do and i pop the hood and fiddle with the battery and notice that the negative conector is not really tight and the positive is really secure....so my question is....could this be the problem and what role does the battery play in keeping the car itself running? thanx a lot:wow::wow::?:

  25. today on my way to school while sitting at a red light I was doing the usuall. All of the sudden my whole car went dead for a split second and then the car turned back on.....i had to put my car in park and restart it.....anyone have any ideas?? Millatyme
