    Kuhmo Tyres

I had a set of 275/30/19 on my last car & IMHO they were crap (one even blew out :tsktsk: lucky only going about 60 at the time) currently on Falken 451s - which are a good performacne tyre for the price
  2. Can anyone please advise of competatively priced suppliers for Cup Sport tyres in 265/35/ZR18 thanks
  3. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthread.php?t=40426 thought you might enjoy these short clips :zee:
  4. should be about £80 from a lexus dealer - just fit it yourself there just pull off 3m tapes - use soapy water if your concerned about aligning
  5. The guy who runs the white R32 is a mate of mine - he's still running the car in - should be in the 8's very soon once he's got to grips with the technique - awsome car!!

  7. Had two sets replaced on the IS300. Problem I found with the older style IS wheels was the polished alloy and painted face joins/interface - seemed to start from there on all 3 sets of wheels - they were never 'sealed' particularly well from new. When we changed to the new RX, took the wheels off and coated with solution of light oil. I always use a coating of WD40 about once a month on alloys. Hopefully the RX wheels will be better, but it looks like I'm gonna be proved wrong by your experiences :shutit:
  8. I'm sure you enjoyed it with several car's in the sub 10's. I hear the facilities weren't much better than last year?? What did you think of Keith Cowies white R32?
  9. for those members who like their supercars, thought this link might be of interest? http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthread.php?t=40060
  10. I'm with fergy on this one - SE standard sound system is max 4/10 :yack:
  11. try disconnecting one of the sensors see if anything changes, and then the other sensor and again monitor any changes. not sure about lexus ecu but i'm sure you'll find that you're running too rich if the o2 sensor(s) ain't working - are you using more fuel than normal? i've found on other cars in the past bad connections which breaking the connection cleaning and re-instating works - cheapest diagnostic check before you spend any money.
  12. it's not in keeping with the quality of the rest of the car - upgrade ideas would be interesting
  13. yip 19" Z1's on 275/30 which are a nightmare to keep clean. 600bhp in that car was either on/off it didn't like bumbling along. the 34 is a far better all round driving experience especilly with the S-tune suspension.
  14. thanks for the comments guys terrible think to admit to, but at one point I had two!!
  15. no more plans - possibly a brake upgrade in the future, but the 4 pot brembos with pagid blue pads do stop pretty quick! the car was built as a fast road car - once you get above 500bhp the everyday drive-abilty suffers - my last skyline was 600bhp and was nowhere as nice to drive as this one. here, the spec just to bore you!! 16. Sorry if this sounds novel but did you ask her? ← yes I did John - my response did sound a bit pompus!! but we both did agree before we changed from the IS300 to the RX300. would have preferred to have gone for the RX400h but it was 6-9 month waiting list and child # 2 will be here VERY soon!!
  17. Bit off topic since this is a Lexus forum, but.... it's a 1999 R34 GTR V-spec, circa 500bhp, 16k from new. some pics since there seems to be a bit of interest
  18. "OFF ROAD" - don't be silly man you'll get the car all dirty I've got a landy for off road
  19. 99.9999% happy. just the tacky fake wood trim on the 300 - why can't you get the aluminium trim as an option as the 400????? moan over :mat:
  20. I looked at both SE & SE-L and thought the wife wouldn't get the benefit of the suspension or 11 speaker system, so opted for the SE. But the standard SE sound system is pretty crap!!
  21. yip - just followed the step/step instructions within the manual and it works fine
  22. You can transfer the phone book from the V3, but you have to do each entry separately. Its best if you can borrow/use a Sony Ericsson phone and transfer the entries from that as you can transfer all the entries in one go. ← I managed both (V3 & k700i) to be transferred a one batch not individually
