    we had ["we" as in it was the wife's/family car] an IS300 sportcross for two years - only reason we sold was we needed a bigger car for the family. we'd still have it otherwise - I'm sure you won't be disappointed

    Yip - managed to transfer both the V3 & k700i phone books across no problem. was actually easier than I thought, but the k700i had to be right next to the dash whereas the V3 didn't.

    in the current hot weather we're experiencing, has anyone experienced a constant drip from the air con vent (which is just inboard of the drivers side inner wheel arch) to the extent that it's leaving significant puddles of water?

    how come if you were to buy RX400h as a company car it's still high on the tax at 24%?? doesn't look like the government are promoting this at all!! Great car though, same about the waiting list :mat:

    my V3 works fine - just the K770i Sony phone that can't connect. I wonder if there might be a problem with your handset & my K700i handset because other people have had no problems with their k700i handsets

    hard wired would be okay but when the car has the bluetooth system fitted shame not to use!!

    Gandalf, it's the K700i that doesn't work the other phone is a V3 Motorola & it works fine. wouldn't care the K700i is only about 3 months old, the car is only 1 week old - easier to change the phone me thinks!

    Sorry the 'plastic' wood does nothing for me - the RX400h interior is far more classy - shame it's not an option for the 300 - once I find a way to improve with CF, aluminuim or leather I let everyone know.

    good post Del Boy. I took it out from the dealer who plugged the numbers in the computer and out came £190 - not sure if post codes come into it as with normal car insurance, but he said "same prices if i was to buy a £6k Ford Ka, so the nearer you get to 50k the better"

    never thought of leather - that would be a lot easier on the door trims not too sure about the dash. might have to get some s/h dash parts before and try. thanks

    I did try the worldwide ebay, thinking there might also be something from japan, (even carbon fibre to 'tone' the interior down) but still no joy :duh:

    I went for it £190 is not a lot of money if the car gets stolen or written off - hopefully never need !!

    Just changed my IS300 sports cross for a new RX300 which I'm very please with, BUT - the wooden style trim does nothing for the car IMHO, I tried so see if I could get the aluminum trim as the RX400h, but it doesn't come as an option. Is there anywhere where I can get some aftermarket or can you buy RX400h trim anywhere? thanks
