  1. Does anyone know how to tell if the waterpump on the IS200 is on its way out.

My water level does not go down and there is no real signs of the red coolant loss that I have seen on some members cars, however I do have a sort of squeeking noise from around the waterpump area although I am not sue exactly where it is coming from, it may even be from the power steering pump.

    Any ideas or experiences anyone?

  2. Hi

I have been with Pipex for the last couple of years and although at some times the speed can vary I do not think I ever lose the connection.

I have had a very good sevice from them, it has only failed once (touch wood) and that was down to a BT fault.

    :D :D

  3. Cool, thanks.

I've got an ex-Toyota main dealer round the corner from me that's advertising Lexus/Toyota servicing fairly cheaply. Having had Toyotas for several years and used them previously when they were main dealers, I may give them a go once the warranty is up. But I'll certainly bear ABM in mind if it doesn't work out locally for any reason...

    cheers,

    Mike

I am not too far from Epsom and currently take my car to Lexus Reading which is quite a trek but not too far from where I work but may be interested in some where more local.

Where abouts is the ex-Totota dealership Mike? What sort of prices are they offering?

    Regards

    :D :D

  4. Mine does this every now and again during the last 4 years, there is no patten to when it will happen, the weather can be hot or cold.

If it does not start 1st time I turn the key to the off position and then turn it back on and wait for a few seconds before turning to start and so far (touch wood) it starts ok.

    :D :D
