  1. :D Hello Looking forward to Gaydon! Note: I am a Gold Member.
  2. Do you feel competent to fix it on your own - if not call in a corgi registered gas fitter. If you do then we need more info to diagnose the fault. Has the pilot light blown out? it was very windy over the weekend. Has the fuse gone? Has the lockout or high limit thermostat tripped? Also try and find a web site for the manufacturer. These days most of them have PDF format files that you can download to assist you. They may also list local agents and stockists.
  3. I took delivery of my IS200 SE Auto in September from a main dealer. The car was an ex demo with about 2000 miles on the clock. I think most of these were done during Feb/March time then the car was left standing until sold. Best car ive ever had and the more I drive it, the more i like it. :D The trouble is there are two small problems, and the dealer has looked at the car and commented as follows: a) When I set off after the car has been standing overnight the first time i have to use the brakes to really stop the car I hear a single bang. I will then get the same noise but not so loud 2/3 times on avareage throughout the day. The dealer says its the self adjusting brakes and all IS200 models are the same. I think it is because the car has been left standing for a long period and some corrosion has taken place. B) There is an annoying vibration through the accelerator pedal at 2000 revs. The dealer has looked at it and said 'that he has re-routed everything to resolve the problem' but it still remains. Should i persist and take the car back again or am i expecting too much?
  4. I drive a IS200 SE Auto. I have just filled up for the second time using Optimax. So far ive noticed no improvement in MPG. I got about 400 miles before fill up (29mpg). This is being very light on the throttle - havn't even raced a Granny. I am still confused - do I have to reset the ECU manually or is this an automatic funtion?
  5. Looking forward to it my first meet. Almost local for me as well.
  6. Came across this web site showing a picture of the new IS model. What do you think? http://www.autofiend.com/modules.php?name=...=article&sid=51
