Sure it's possible to do this, but you would waste tons of money.
On a N/A car a cone filter at the other end of an intercooler, wouldn't give any difference on power.
The intercooler is for cooling down the air coming from a turbo or SC, because a turbo runs da*n hot and heats up the air. So the intercooler works good on TC or SC cars.
This isn't the fact on an intake... :winky:
Thanks for that RR just got me thinking thats all :winky:

Ok,
Following the Euro meet trip Dobedo & I had an idea.............
Hows about we pop over to france............have a drive round stay the night in a hotel...........drive around.........visit le Hypermarket.........come home
Thinking about 2nd weekend in June
Need expressions of interest.
Initial idea is we leave from Poole (overnight ferry)----go to Cherbourg drive up through France to Calais & back to Dover...........
If we get enough interest I'll contact the ferry company & see if I can get a deal
same with the hotel will get ** rooms avec douche :zee: and will try for a discount.
If the deal is cheaper using the one port then I'd say poole cherbourg is best as Normandy is a lovely place.............
Anyway let me know on ere !
So far its the
Ellen family
Dobedo family
Audio X family

yea Maz use Heat gun but as long as you point it away from the lens you should be ok it takes about 15-25 mins to do one light :winky: then from there you can do what you like with it B)
-
Great Car! :D
Do you already have fitted an SC or did you connect the intercooler with the custom intake??
Sorry for going but could i do that, put an intercooler on my custom induction kit, would it help or not call me :iraqi-info-minister: for asking but if i did not ask i would not know B) my way of thinking is i can do what i like to the car but at the end of the DAY if i did this would it help or not
-
go get it book in mate i would
-
Are your tyres not supposed to be 225/40 18?
Thats what I have on mine and thats what Lexus put on the cars with the styling kit alloys.
Probably nothing to do with your problem though.
if they do it then you can have it you can have 245/40/18 if you want or 235/45/18 and so on, it all comes down to you at the end of the day if you want it to look that bit lower then put 45's on 18" wheels
as i have just had 225/45/17 put on my IS, but its not what come of it :winky:
P.S dont just go by what Lexus put on the wheels. B)
-
I just had 2x SP9090,s put on my IS they look the same as Std SP9000, what can you tell me about them guys asi did ask for SP9000 and when i looked they are the 9090,s and they dont have MFS well they dont look like they do ;)
any way my point is are the SP9000 and the SP9090 the same, as to me they look the same
-
