I have ordered one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F5WPB2K/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They are a lot cheaper than the Black vue but still get great reviews. Ill let you know when it arrives and do a write up Seth

Hi Daniel I still feel the same about the whole car. its great. the upholstery is good because you can just wipe it down. Now that its turned colder, I would like heated seats but as it wasn't an option (without upgrading and costing a couple of grand more) I'll just have to put my thermal pants on!! I still like the looks that you get when driving, especially on electric in car parks when you sneak up on people!! Seth

show us the pictures then!

Hi Bob Yes I am really happy with the parking sensors. They don't have the dash display but then I'm always looking at the camera in the RVM. See attached some photos Seth

Ct Advance Sat Nav (First Time Lexus User)
Sethyhead replied to robertchas's topic in Lexus CT 200h Club
While on route puts the left button on the control and it will bring up the slider bar. Push right on the round control to increase volume and left to decrease. Simples -
All that money to downsize the wheels. It seems that most people spend their money getting bigger rims! Why not just spend the money on a really good cushion? Seth

Advance screen is just a built in TomTom.
-
It's basically a non nav version with a built in Tom Tom and other extras. I tried to price up all the extras with a standard nav (screen for car stuff too) and it was around £4k more so I didn't think it worth it.
-
Yes just the nav

As for the hill assist: you need to push heavily on the break pedal until the orange (or is it yellow) traction light flashes then you have a little time to use the throttle. I did it by mistake while turning around at lights and wondered what the #%#% was going on I now uses it quite often

Try disconnecting the Bluetooth before trying the USB

I've got an iPhone 5 and it charges and plays tunes fine. Not tried any other phone (as I don't have another one !) Should be ok, check you have the right cable and not a cheap one from eBay!

Can you not just use your AA membership?

Turn Off Annoying Reverse Beep And Other Settings
Sethyhead replied to Sethyhead's topic in Lexus CT 200h Club
I'd Speak with your dealer if I were you. Mine thought that it couldn't be switched off (so was using it as a safety feature!) but after I showed him this he said the first thing he would do would be have his own one switched off!!! Seth -
Hi After another post I thought I'd share with you a useful document that I used before I collected my CeeeTeee. I guess that if you take it with you to a dealer then they will change anything you like (they have good customer service you know!) It shows all the settings that you can change along with the ones that only the dealer can change. Including turning off the annoying reverse beeps! I also got them to set the window opening from the key fob, very handy in the summer! Seth CT200h-with-nav-LPS.pdf

Hi Joan Re the parking beep: it's a little know fact that the dealer can turn it off! Mine just beeps once. I didn't go for Lexus parking sensors as I had them retro fitted for a fraction of the price. If you hate the continuous beep then get them to turn it off. I have a .pdf that has all the settings that you can change / the dealer can change for you. PM me and I'll send it to you. I.e. windows open from the key fob (great for summer days) The reason I use a cable for my iPhone music is that the phone bit connects with Bluetooth and it gets confused if you are trying to connect both phone and music via Bluetooth so it's music via cable / phone by BT and I don't have to change any of the settings Hope this helps Seth

So how did you get on Peter? I am attempting the puddle lights in the mirrors tomorrow. Done all the rest and they look much better Seth

Hi Anthony I collected my CT Advance exactly a month ago and can say that I love it. I did go for the DAB but to be honest unless you are REALLY keen on Planet Rock / Radio 4 extra or another station that you can't get on FM then I wouldn't bother. Just buy a USB cable that plugs into your iPhone (or other) and download as may podcasts as you like! I would whole hartedley recommend the car and Lexus Hatfield is also fantastic. Go for the service plan (over 10 years, you can transfer / stop it anytime) as it works out to £19 per month! Oh and the ride is firm (sporty) but fine. A much better car that the 1 series / A3 etc etc sheeps cars! Seth

Hi Peter Sorry for the late reply Try this one 2x T10 W5W 501 194 168 Car White 10 SMD LED Side Light Wedge Bulb Lamp DC 12V UK I use the ipad app so it's hard to copy links. They were £1.89 for two bulbs. Yes the interior front ones are all 501's or T10 (same thing) and so are the number plate ones The centre light is a festoon 30mm squeezes in ok. Hope this helps Seth
-
Hi All The first bulb changes have taken place (see photos) I ordered some 501 led bulbs from eBay and fitted them to the interior front lights and the number plate. I would recommend getting led's with all round light for the lights above the visors and the numberplate as they are angled to use the 'all around' type bulb (I've ordered more!). The ones in the centre are angled down so a 'spot' type led works well. Thoughts / comments please
