  1. Did that update work? I think I might still be using the original 2007 disk too. Cheers Rob
  2. Whilst looking for a possible solution to the Check Hybrid System problem that I just sorted, I noticed that I seem to be getting the beginnings of a small swimming pool in the rear seat well area, having looked a little closer, I think it may be running down both front seatbelts and accumulating in the dip ringh below where they are bolted to the lower sides of the car, looking above them, there is only the sunroof that would go right acrodd the car and be ablt to leak water onto both sides (a guess right now). I need to remove the driver and passenger door pillar trim to have a look at possible direction for tyhe water to get in and travel, I want to try to avoid removing the roof lining if I can at this point. Does anyone have asny advice on how the trim comes off and possibly the clip positions? anyone done this to find a leak before? any other advice would be appreciated. Cheers, Rob
  3. Yep, I will indeed. I'm shocked that that was the only thing that was causing such a massive problem, about 1cm of fluid and the world ends. lol
  4. Update, checked the Hybrid Coolant level, it seemed a little low, closer inspection told me it was, topped it up, worked a treat, no errors now!
  5. I have exactly the same issue as this, had the guy out from the RAC who read the codes for me, the main code seemed to be P0AA6, "Hybrid/EV Battery Voltage System Isolation Fault", there were a number of voltage mismatch errors etc but I don't recall the codes, i'll get it done again. In my case, I parked at my local suremarket and all was well, when I came back out, check hybrid system and che vsc system warnings, dash lights on as normal but no engine start and when I tried to turn the ignition key the final step as if to startm I got the message put vehicle in park to stsrt. I took the terminals off the aux battery (which is brand new a couple of weeks ago), left it 5 mins, all started and ran ok, parked it at home, turned the ignition off and back on, same message, same results. Not sure exactly what real world error the crypytic message "Hybrid/EV Battery Voltage System Isolation Fault" means but I'll be checking a few things, 1 - the three vents under the rear seat for clogging with crap, 2 - the expansion tank to make sure that there is enough coolant to actually circulate around the inverter etc, 3 - in and around Hybrid Batter area under the rear seats for water / leaks, 5 - the three cooling fans in the Hybrid Battery casing to make sure they are working correctly. If none of that cures the issue, looks like some expensive dignosis tests and a qualified garage (but not a dealer). I think it may even be possible to have a few dead cells, not sure how many would need to be dead to reduve the actuating voltage required for the vehicle to initially start but i'm guessing that even 2 or 3 would have the effect. Anyone any other experiance of this issue and have different codes and maybe a happy fixed outcome? Cheers
  6. LOL good description of what I just went through. I released the fusebox that you spoke of but still had probs getting my hand in, just needed another couple of inches, damn. I did have to remove the clips and nuts to loosen the bumper so I could get to the hidden nut. Four nuts in total I was told and to be careful not to break the top clips when removing. turns out, I should have looked closer, someone had already done the same process to change a bulb and he snapped the clips (only noticed when I came to move the headlight, the snapped parts cam apart. Anyways, git the extra couple of inches I required but did not remove the headlight completely. When it all went back together it was a pain to get everything in the right place and fitting properly, That managed, I had to fix the snapped clips with epoxy. All done, working finne once again.
  7. Hi folks, does anyone have any knowledge about changing the HiD bulb on the RX400h?
