the lines on the road are secondary evidence and not technically required to convict. the camera works on the same principle as the laser by calculating distance over time. it does this without the aid of white lines, they are only for your peice of mind so you don't challenge the authority. Obviously bucking the trend can be to your advantage though... Well done that man.

have you looked at the equivilent BMW 5 series? sorry to be controvertial but, it seems to drive firmer and give better MPG. Anyone else find that the case? (duck and cover)

good question... this was an experiment for us and I think I will probably go for another CL500 after the lease runs out. It's been nice but not as opulent as the Merc. besides, its japanese. Lacks originality. Great improvment on many german rivals but its always playing catch up. I guess I would have looked at the 850CSI if they were still making it though, so I may look at the new 6 coupe... but I don't care much for BMW. they are driven by too many :tsktsk: just an oppinion.

We put 19s on our old CLK. it mad no difference except to our bank balance... and the kerbs still jumped out at her everytime she parked on the high street...

Hi, I was wondering if there are any aftermarket respected tuners that can get an extra 50+BHP at the wheels out of a 2002 SC430. She's not going to see much use now its cold and skiddy weather. Any chance I can get a reasonable power gain over winter so she feels like a new car in spring? Not heard of anyone doing much with these but after while I am sure you all agree, they feel a bit, well, tame? Still a stoting ride, but not got the excitement it used to have... Help

for that money would you not consider a nitrous kit for the occassional speed boost with the combination of no regular increase in consumption. although granted you'd not get "better" economy. sure someones done this on a 300... might have been at TDI... not sure...
