the lines on the road are secondary evidence and not technically required to convict. the camera works on the same principle as the laser by calculating distance over time. it does this without the aid of white lines, they are only for your peice of mind so you don't challenge the authority. Obviously bucking the trend can be to your advantage though... Well done that man. -
What I find disturbing is the lengths some people will go to in order to find a subject to debate and create strong feeling that will be vented through a forum. Do any of you really care what the next Lexus driver thinks about Any religion? As I drive down the Kings road looking at pretty girls in short skirts, I do not question their religous affiliations. No, Sir. I may wonder what colour panties they have on, but then I think that is a far better use of my cognitive powers than contemplating the rights and wrongs of religion. Forgive me for keeping it real, as you young people say.

have you looked at the equivilent BMW 5 series? sorry to be controvertial but, it seems to drive firmer and give better MPG. Anyone else find that the case? (duck and cover)

good question... this was an experiment for us and I think I will probably go for another CL500 after the lease runs out. It's been nice but not as opulent as the Merc. besides, its japanese. Lacks originality. Great improvment on many german rivals but its always playing catch up. I guess I would have looked at the 850CSI if they were still making it though, so I may look at the new 6 coupe... but I don't care much for BMW. they are driven by too many :tsktsk: just an oppinion.

We put 19s on our old CLK. it mad no difference except to our bank balance... and the kerbs still jumped out at her everytime she parked on the high street...

Hi, I was wondering if there are any aftermarket respected tuners that can get an extra 50+BHP at the wheels out of a 2002 SC430. She's not going to see much use now its cold and skiddy weather. Any chance I can get a reasonable power gain over winter so she feels like a new car in spring? Not heard of anyone doing much with these but after while I am sure you all agree, they feel a bit, well, tame? Still a stoting ride, but not got the excitement it used to have... Help

shot down in flames... okay. Don't know much about these things but would one of the things you attach to the fuel line with a built in cat of some sort be good for a LEXUS economy wise? I'd maybe try that on the SC... Can they pop one on at the Dealer?

for that money would you not consider a nitrous kit for the occassional speed boost with the combination of no regular increase in consumption. although granted you'd not get "better" economy. sure someones done this on a 300... might have been at TDI... not sure...

I heard some horror stories about fancy hoses "sweating" out the PAS fluid! Any truth in this? Might not of have been Samco of course.. but it was an IS200 Lex all the same. Any experience based knowledge appreciated. D

My daughter never gets more than 28mpg out of her mk2 GS300... but its only just joined the family. Think it might want a service. Last owner reckoned the plugs had been in since new and the think has done over 100k! Nice ride though..safe as houses ;)
