  6. Oh well i will try the swap front to back then see how that goes but the one guy did ask if i have any vibration when driving so i said no only when braking the guy then said it must be brake related, if the wheels were not balanced you would get vibration at different speeds when driving. i cannot answer that as i dont know the business You are in Germany? maybe that is my problem i need to drive on the other side of the Road :winky:
  7. mat i was there when he put them on the Machine and where it told him to put a weight he did it but you defo think that would be the cause of the trouble or will i be paying out another £25-30 to have them all rebalanced a mate of mine did say that 17" wheels are Bstd to Balance is that true or i could get it done when i go to Tony at WIM im sure Tony will be able to sort it out, 17 wheels are no harder than any other, ive never had issues with balancing or tracking on the Monster and thats always had 18" wheels on..... steel wheel weights shouldnt be used on alloy wheels, it knackers them Matt i hate to say it but you are wrong, you can use knock on weights on the STD Lexus 17" wheels as there is a lip on inside for them to fit, i have been told this by three companies now the advice they did give me was to swap the fronts to the rear to see if that cures the problem, i am just waiting for Tony to get back to me. But i think i will be going to the dealer if this does not cure the problem and just pass them my Master card and cry

  10. yes Mat the hubs were cleaned, i took it back to the local tyre company and they rebalanced the tyres allround (they did not use the stick on type of weight they used the ones that knock on to side like on steel rims but inside) as they guy there said they are hard to stick on to wheels that are not spotless we have checked the caliper and it seems fine but how would i know?? when you pump the pedal the pistons comes out then goes back in but still have to push them back to get it right inside (hope that makes sense) Matt
  11. Any help would be appreciated in the Birmingahm area Ok here goes I have a IS200 Sport and towards the end of last year i started getting a judder at the front when braking at around 50-60mph, so was told by someone that will be your disks that are warped, so i had some new discs fitted by my brother and new front pads, i also had new rear pads fitted, well it happened again there was the judder again, so i went back to the factors with the discs and said they are warped, they exchanged them, refitted them then i was told you need to bed them in over 500 miles, so i drove very careful, after i bed them in so they say, cranked it up to 60-80 on motorway started braking and it was back, then everyone is saying its this its that, so i have now replaced the lower ball joints the track rod ends, but the judder was still there, then i think i wonder if a Shock is knackered, so yes you guessed it i have also swapped them on the front, but the F-kin judder is still there WHAT CAN IT BE NOW :tsktsk: i have been on to WIM as i want to go down to Watford and get the Geo done on the car, but untill i get this judder sorted i feel i might be paying for a geo then someone will screw it up by messing with the wheels PLEASE PLEASE Help if any one knows what it might be or can have a look i dont mind paying honest but i am near cracking point. i know yes i could take it to Lexus but feel i will be paying massive labour rates for them to keep testing differnt things and i aint that Rich. Cheers Matt

  13. Merry Christmas & Happy New year to you all Matt Shirley & my three very excited boys :D
  14. i was getting around 410miles to a tank now getting 380miles i use the M42 & M6 south to Cov but now they have turned those Stupid Traffic speed lights on the M42 on the traffic is worse than ever 40mph max in the morning from junc 3-7 and in the evening i cannot even get on the M42 which ever dope designed them needs poolballing as there are cameras over every gantry (like M25) the sign says 40 so people do 30 WHY!!!!!!!!!!!! Rubbish System Yet again another way the government get your money use more fuel getting to work hench having to refill often Phew glad i got that off me chest AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH :tsktsk:
  15. Ok here goes i have a IS200 sport started getting Judder when braking at 60+ so i thought ok change discs & Pads front & Pads Rear Seemed OK but then it come back again so i went back to garage and swapped discs for new ones i was realy careful and drove careful for up to 500 mile to bed them in, and it come back again so i went drastic looking on this site i seen there might be a problem with lower ball joints, so i changed them and it is still there i will be changing the steering track rod ends tomorrow, as the rubbers got split when sepperating the end from lower ball joint I even took Zees advice and checked the wheel nuts were correct torque by investing in a torque wrench and 21mm socket wheel alignment done by friend at garage with laser alignment the only saving grace is a i have a friend at a motor accessory shop that is very understanding with costs :D SO WHAT CAN IT BE THAT IS DOING THIS F-KING JUDDER please help ps car has never been in a accident Thanks Matt
  16. Ordered the new ones today from my mates Motor factors Blueprint Manufacture £25.00 each bargin just got to get the tracking sorted after i have fitted them
  17. Be 'wise' some areas of the car you don't want second hand parts (like) brakes, pistons, steering!.... these sort of areas so important to you and the car must be new. Off box.... ← Yes you are so right i will order two NEW Ones tomorrow Thanks
  18. hello does any one know how much the track rod ends are for a is200 yom 2000, as i have fitted new lower ball joints and they were a git to seperate and i have split the rubber boots on T R ends using ball joint splitter :duh: crap design i have seen someone breaking a Is200 on ebay they want £50.00 for the pair delivered but that seems a bit expensive i think or not any one got any idea how much they are or any one got any they want to sell Cheers Matt
  19. Ok fitted new discs and pads on front 3-4 months ago after a month i got Judder at 70mph when braking (on Motorway) so went back to garage and they swapped the discs, They told me i must allow time for the discs and pads to bed in so no hard braking so i did what they said for the next 500 miles (2.5 weeks) travelling to and from work. but now it has started again could it be somthing else that is causing this, as i dont want to go back and say they are warrped again, then start all over again, or are the discs of today that rubbish that they warp easily Cheers Matt
  20. so this seems a common fault but it is the first time in over 2 years this ha happened next time i will wait till i can see the fuel at the top of the neck :winky: thanks everyone
  21. This happened the other day i had just under 1/4 tank of fuel pulled in to a garage (big food chain sounds like hesco) filled the tank with 58L to make sure i got my 5p off a Litre i paid the garage went back to the car turned the ignition on and the fuel gauge still showed 1/4 tank of fuel, i thought i have just paid £49.00 for fresh air, so i got out the car went back in to the garage and said i think there is a problem with the pump, after 10mins a manager from the store come over and said have i got a problem with tha gauge in the car, i said no so the nice manager said ok if you have filled it try and put some petrol in and yes it took .59p he then laughed and said i think you will need to check your gauge, as i was driving back to work i got about 1/2 a mile from garage and the needle shot to full :duh: How strange what a div i felt Any one else had this happen
  22. them fuel savers dont work come on how can it work two magnets make the fuel flow even so they say but does that take in to account your foot on the pedal to the floor and Traffic jams i dont think so way to save money on Fuel is drive sensible How much do you get from your tank of fuel anything around 370-420 i would say is Good
  23. Steve sounds to me like his wife is giving him greif at home so he will come to work and take it out on who ever he wants put a letter of complaint in all the best Matt
  24. i've also seen these on there. the thing that put me off was the dash mounted display. I'll trust my judgment for the moment when reversing! will be intrested to know what you make of them though ;) yeah i know what you mean it looks a bit cheap but looking at it you dont have to have it on display as it also uses the beeper system, so first before fixing it i might hide it and use the beep beep system only other thing anyone know how i can stop the reverse gear saftey alarm can i pull a wire off the alarm and where is it mounted cheers Matt ←
