Your tank requirements will make it very expensive. Typical conversion involves taking your spare wheel out and putting a tank there, and a can of tyre repair foam to get you back home. I've previously made enquiries at http://www.greenfuel.org.uk/, they have done a conversion on IS before with the method mentioned above, quoted me about £2K. I have looked in to it and there is a company in the midlands called Go Gas they quoted me around £1650-1750, The Company my wife works for recomends them to convert Land rovers & range rovers I had a chat with the guy there and he said the IS can be done. But then i thought its a lot of money and will i get the return on it i am doing around 260 mile a week just to work and back. i could probably spend that amount in Petrol for the next year then trade the car in.

Hello I supplied the blank which i purchased of Fleabay and took it to them and they charged £7.50 to cut it so all in key blank £12.00 and £7.50 to cut not too bad i think but it was a std Lexus 3 button type blank they cut, not one of those as listed (same as VW type) but i am sure they can cut them

Hello all i nearly let the Oil companies/government make me sell my car IS200 Sport, with rising fuel costs, i convinced myself that i should sell MY car that i love and get somthing a bit better on running costs. I even went as low to think of chopping it in for a Astra 1.8i Dual fuel LPG/petrol but every time i looked at the Astra i thought Gawd this is nothing compared to what i already drive. Then i saw the Light and thought Why should i allow the robbing Oil companies/Government tell me what i can and cannot drive. So i am sticking with my Lex that is a dream to drive even if it does cost a bit to run. and i hope to keep it for another year or two then look at getting a IS220d or a IS250 as i think in the next 18months the price of Diesel will rise way above Petrol, so maybe a IS250 would then be cheaper to Run :winky:

No but last time i purchased a key blank for My lexus i got it cut in Coventry, at a locksmiths Shop http://www.eydens.co.uk/locat.html and they had all the gear to do all cars by the look of it Hope this helps

I fitted a Pioneer head unit and the Pioneer ipod box and the ipod lead is in the glove box out of site out of mind But my mate purchased a Alpine unit, just for Ipod users, it has a small coluor LCD display like an ipod, so displays album/artist covers same as the Ipod and all it does is have Ipod and radio looks and sounds superb Matt

sure is, sorry about that but i only found out when i got home and called the support line to find out where my Console was as mine is still with Microsoft 25 days to turn it round, they must have hundreds sorry thousands being repaired. i had a right moan at the call centre when i had to hand over my card details for £85.00 hopefully they will send me a new machine that has been modified with the cooler running chip set but fair play to uncle Bill his team have held there hands up over this !!!!!! or is just that people will start buying the PS3 and nintendo Wiis

I must admit i am a bit of a Tech nutter must have all and i have all the next gen consoles started with the XBOX360 and i must admit it is now getting better for games i then Purchased in November last year the Wii for my lads fantastic machine Best game is Wii Sports and also wario smooth moves. my son is awaiting the new Mario football game, but i will be amazed how you play football I have also purchased the PS3 on Launch day bit dissapointed with the games so far but as a Blueray Player for Films fantastic Just thought i would let you all know Matt

I usually get 400 mile to a tank or 100mile per Qtr line but with the price of the fuel creaping up again it becomes a bit costly to fill the tank as it is coming towards summer (petrol companies put it up during the summer as more people on roads) But i dont think you will ever get both luxury and fuel economy(petrol) in one car it just dont go together Matt
