  7. Hello can someone help i have noticed that when doing 70-80 mph on the motorway IS200 Sport is reving at around 3500 rpm in 6th gear is this correct as i was driving a 1.9tdi Renault Laguna for a friend the other day and that was reving at 2500 rpm in 6th gear (4Cyl) As my Lexus has a 2.0 Engine and is 6cyl i would have thought the revs would be lower. when my car is idling it is around 800rpm so i dont thing the clock is faulty sorry but not to technicaly minded can someone help Thanks Matt
  8. hello as i have just bought my IS200 Sport i have noticed products on the TV (not your std channels the ones from outer space) :D that can clean your catalyst and improve MPG and lower emmisions also there is one that is added to your oil and they claim the engine can be run without oil,(not that you would do that)and started as cold as -300 below but gives a coating on the cyl Bores, and also add a bottle to the Transmission sorry but for legal reasons i can not say the names of the products but has anyone tried any of these and do they work or is it just a waste of money or can any one recomend anything Cheers Matt
  9. Hello having just got my Lexus i have noticed on SKY there are products for sale like Duralube & Cataclean what my question is has anybody tried these products and if so do they work as the one claims to put a coating inside the engine to reduce wear and aid better starting from cold and the other claims to clean the fuel system and Catalist thefore giving better Mpg and less co2 emissions and better acceleration Any Help would be appreciated before buying them or can anyone recomend anything better Cheers Matt :)

  12. Hello all i am only 1 day away from picking up my new car but today i phoned the garage ref the Cam belt and they have said they have been advised by Lexus Birmingham that the belt does not need changing until it reaches 100K so i will replace the belt myself. as one of you said the belt will cost me £20-30 and will give me peace of mind BUT and its a big BUT i will not let this put me off, as again one of you said i will be driving a LEXUS WITH A BIG SMILE Reason why i am leaving the car till Friday is i dont feel i should pay the DVLA 12months road tax and only get 11months (tight git but practical)
