  1. Hi Sully, we have checked with our servicing team and £895 is the correct price for a 6 year / 60k mile service on an IS-F. We understand what you're getting at and why you are disappointed hearing others say they paid less, but you have been quoted the correct price. Ultimately our dealers are independently-operated businesses and while they commit to prices on services, they are free to negotiate with and offer discounts to customers as they see fit. We hope that answers your question and that you continue to enjoy your IS-F. Do let us know if we can help with anything else. Lexus UK.
  2. Looking at Peter's invoice the spark plugs were done on his service. Stu, might be best to check with Woodford if they are doing the spark plugs?
  3. I emailed Lexus Bradford yesterday and this was their response: In response to your email received yesterday regarding your recent price enquiry for a £60k service on your Lexus ISF. I have opened your attached link to the forum on the Lexus Owners Club website, my Service Advisor Louise was absolutely correct in quoting you as she did for this service at £895 as this is a National Fixed Price operated by all the Lexus Centres throughout the UK. The 60k service is a large service which also includes the replacement of the spark plugs. The only way this service could be discounted down to £600 on your vehicle would be if the plugs were not replaced as per schedule. Obviously we can only advise you of the recommended requirements of the manufacturers but the choice would inevitably be yours. If you require the full 60k service as per the correct service schedule then this will be £895 or alternatively if you wish to not have the spark plugs replaced then I would be able to do the balance for £600.00 inc vat.
  4. Just spoken to Lexus Leeds and Bradford and they both quoted £895. I advised them that Woodford had serviced for much less but they both stated it is now fixed pricing across all of lexus. Not having much luck here.
  5. IS-F still needs a thorough clean but just been too busy having fun this weekend. Loving it so far.
  6. Hey guys. Sorry for late reply. I have been so busy with work and travelling a lot looking at various IS-Fs. I am over the moon as I bought one today. The drive home was awesome. Can't believe the mpg I got even though I was going up and down the gears. Oh the noise. It's awesome. I have finally joined your exclusive club. I will post pics once I have cleaned and polished it. Thanks Sully
  7. Responses like that give me the confidence that I have made the right decision in choosing the isf
  8. Hi guys. I am going to view an IS-F on Saturday. It's at the Lexus dealers in Nottingham. It's a silver one. I have been sent a few pics of the car and I noted the aerial on the roof was black. Is this right? As far as I know it should be colour coded. Or am I wrong? Also what tyres came as standard on the Isf? From what I can see from the pics it has Bridgestone potenzas. Is it possible to upload pics onto here from my phone? If it is I will upload the ones I have been sent. Any other advice you guys may have would be grateful. Thanks Sully
  9. Another has just hit auto trader if anyone is interested. Black one. On for just under £22k.
  10. That is so true. I missed out on a black one that went for sale at Arnold Clark in Scotland a few weeks ago. Sold on the same day it was advertised. It was on at a good price. You have to be quick. I check auto trader etc twice maybe three times a day now.
  11. Hi guys. I am hoping to go look at the red one this coming week at some point. Not sure at this point I will go for it. But if anyone is interested and wants me to take any closer pics etc please let me now. Sully
  12. Thanks for all your replies, much appreciated. I do like the look of the IS-F especially the way the arches are over the front wheels and the bulge in the bonnet. It is so much better looking that the 4 door M3. I am going to take my time with getting the right car as I intend to keep it for a number of years. Like I said it ticks all the boxes for me. The main colours I am looking for are either Silver or Grey. However, I have never seen a red one in the flesh, come to think of it I have never seen one at all!!. I am going to try and get down to the dealer in Rochdale at some point to have a look if they still have it. I will see if I can get a chance to have a test drive. Still cant believe how reliable they seem to be!! Sully
  13. Will the intake and exhaust affect the warranty at all?
  14. Really looking forward to an IS-F. Having read most of the previous posts on here there only seem to be a few dealers who get mentioned. Mainly down south. Do you know which dealers are good up north? Leeds? Are there any IS-F owners on here from the Yorkshire area?
  15. Well I would love the H&S but I am not sure my elderly neighbours would be so keen. Lol. I live in a very quiet cul de sac and the noise from my current car just bounces off the houses. I do get funny looks off them at times. Although I am sure I read somewhere that it is quiet when keeping revs below 3600. Is that true?
  16. Hi Guys, Just thought I would introduce myself as I am hoping to join this very exclusive IS-F club. just a little bit about myself, I am currently looking for an IS-F. I am in no rush and willing to wait for the right car. I currently drive a mk4 R32 and have done since 2008. Its the longest I have ever kept a car!! It has been reliable, only broke down on me twice; once the fuel pump and second time the fan belt snapped. Other than that it's been brilliant. I am 36 years old and now I believe too old to be honing around in a 'boy racers' car! well so I have been told by the wife!!! So the journey started in looking to upgrade. Been down the usual route, as no doubt some of you will have been, M3, M5, C63 etc. However, when reading all the problems these cars have has really put me off. I need a reliable fast car that will be used as a DD. When reading up on M3 etc I never really gave the IS-F a thought, however, I stumbled upon this forum. I then started reading into the IS-F and OMG what a beauty!!!! I could not believe what a machine it is and to top it off so reliable not to mention very very rare and discrete!! Basically ticks all the boxes for me. I have looked at the one on sale at the moment, there are only two in the Lexus dealer network, one with Toyota in Rochdale. There is one at a private trader in Herts (grey one) I have not mentioned the dealers name as I am not sure of the rules of this forum as yet, then there is the infamous white one!!! and the red one with high miles. Having a read of the previous posts, it does seem prices have creped up on the IS-F. Which to be honest I am not surprised. As I said I am in no rush and willing to wait for the right car. I do like the grey one though. Do any of you guys know that car? I apologise for the long post and I am very much looking forward to joining you guys in owning what I can only describe as a phenomenal car!!! Sully
